Basically everything was good, a good place to stay as its in the middle of a few places of interest , its humble and cozy , i would recommend a small change, the window in the living room could be changed out to a larger one, a larger deck would be awesome as well... but still a good place to use , the store down the street has everything you need. Theres a gas station near by, theres museums near as well... overall I enjoyed the visit.
My wife and I purchased this home to enjoy all the splendors of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We enjoy breathing the fresh mountain air, long walks with our lap dogs and visiting with our friendly downhome neighbors. It gives up delight to be able to share what we've enjoyed now for years with others.
Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet yet close to Highway 24 and centrally located. We are surrounded by State and National Parks and a gazillion nearby attractions such as Skiing, Hiking, Fishing, Boating, Swimming, Caves, Indian Dwellings, Red Rocks, Rafting, Train Rides. Hot Springs, Pikes Peak, etc. The list goes on and on.
Our home is around 8,400 feet in elevation. We call it our home in the sky. It sits securely on the side of a mountain giving us beautiful mountain, canyon pass, and valley views. From the comfort of our home we see beautiful wildlife including deer, bear, elk, eagles, hawks, Albert Squirrels, foxes, and more. We get beautiful sunsets to the West which we call our "Smoldering Pine Sunset" because the sun sets into a mountain full of tall Ponderosa Pines.
