The cabin sleeps 10 comfortably including 3 private sleeping areas and a large loft that includes 3 beds and plenty of room for everyone. Having the kitchen and dining room separate from the great room allows people to have space to play cards and games at the dining room table while the rest of the crew relaxes on a couch in the great room visiting, enjoying a good book or playing board games. You might feel like you're remote but don't worry, there is a smart tv so you wont have to miss a thing. Plenty of space to park your boat, snowmobiles, quads etc... This is cabin living at its finest with plenty of room for everyone and for the price you won't find a better deal!
Beautiful cabin with rich history found in the photo book. The cabin was in a central location to head to both the mountains and lakes. Lisa, the host was an absolute gem and wonderful to work with. We had kids ages 4,3,2 and 1 present and there was a great area upstairs fully stocked with kid books and toys and they LOVED it. We made some amazing meals in the kitchen and it's really well stocked for those who like cooking! Very highly recommend!
Such a great place to stay!! It really felt like staying at a friends place, not a rental. The cabin was completely stocked with everything you might need. It was clean, enough space that we had room for the whole family to hang together in the living room but also enough space so that at night we all had our separate areas. The log cabin has such a cool vibe and it backs to so much land that you can go wander...! The outside deck was a nice bonus because the weather was cool enough that we could all sit outside for dinner. There is a hot tub (we didn't use) but it looked like it would be nice to use on a winter night!Highly recommend - and the host was great and extremely responsive!
This cabin is the real deal. Cozy, rustic, and full of character. The wood interior and peaceful forest setting made it the perfect unplugged escape. Everything we needed was provided, and we left feeling completely recharged.
My friends and I stayed 4 nights and this was a great place to accommodate our needs. Lisa was incredibly easy to work with and responses were timely. There were 4 couples/friends in our group. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to use this spot again. Itâs 30 minutes away from some incredible spots:-Paulina Lake - also hot springs you can walk to.-Bend- we did the float which was about 1.5 hours and had some fun easy rapids. You can rent floats! -Lava Butte - shuttle at the visitor center for 5 that will take you up to the top of Lava Butte. Then a 1/4 mile hike around the cinder cone. ROOMS:The king and queen bed was comfy, and didnât hear a lot of noise. Friends that stayed in the loft above the bedrooms said one mattress was a coil mattress but the other 2 were comfier. The loft is open to the sunlight so bring an eye mask if you are a late sleeper and earplugs if a light sleeper :) Friend that stayed in the loft above the kitchen said you can hear everything in the kitchen and showering and flushing from the bathroom below. This would be a good spot for a heavy sleeper or kids, and someone short! We all loved the quietness and the space. The hot tub was amazing, which we enjoyed multiple times through the day. Highly recommend turning off all the lights and gazing up at the stars. Definitely a great spot and would love to use again :)*Recommend bringing own: shampoo/conditioner/body soap, hair dryer, extra clothes, inside sandals.
Great location to horseback riding, hikes and water activities. Plenty of space to park three cars. We used both indoors and outdoor patios and the hot tub. Our two families of four stayed here (four 50 yo and four teens), and there was enough space we werenât on top of each other. The home is private and is clean, too! If we are in the area, we will certainly stay again! La Pine itself I wish I had more time in, because two full days is not near enough!
We came to do a Memorial of life for my Parents with all the kids, grandkids, great grandkids and Aunts and Uncles. The cabin was awesome. We had plenty of room inside and out. The frisbee golf course was a hit. Everything was cleaned and prepped for us. It's an all-around great cabin.
nice and cozy cabin. hot tub was great. barbecue worked good.wood stove was great once we figured out how to use it. the only annoying thing was the neighbors dogs on the hot tub side were constantly barking at us at times.
This cabin exceeded our expectations. Very cozy and perfect for our ski vacation for spring break. The kids asked when we could stay again before we ever left!
As the listing says, this is a rustic cabin. We loved it because of that! This house was so perfectly well appointed, with all of the amenities! It was just hubs and I for the weekend, but 10-15 people would have been comfortable here without tripping over each other. I loved the woodsy touches throughout the house. There was even a record player which added to the rustic feel. A couple points of information;in the winter time, you would definitely want to check in with the host and make sure the driveway has been plowed. We were fine in our 4wd truck, but a smaller car would have had trouble because the area wasn't plowed well enough to turn around. Also, the hot tub is not secluded. The cabin is in a rural neighborhood, so there is lots of space between neighbors, but there are neighbors. This is information only and did not detract from the experience for us.
We really enjoyed our stay. Just the place for a little 4 night getaway. The wood stove was awsome!!! While it was only the two of us, this cabin would be perfect for a family, with plenty of sleeping and seating arraignments. Lot's of love went into building this cabin...check out their cabin build book while you are there, it's really neat!!!
This was the perfect place to stay in with our pup! It's private, fenced and a beautiful location with a great space to enjoy and explore the BLM trails out the back gate. It was exactly as described, sparkling clean, and the beds were very comfy. It is also a great jumping off point for Mt. Bachelor or other outdoor activities. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back again!
Very pretty cabin. Wonderful communication with the host. Only thing was there was some dog fur on couch and floors when we arrived, which didnt really matter as we have dogs and dog fur is the new glitter but someone else may not have appreciated that. Also we had to make sure to clean the dishes before use as many of them had fingerprints on glass and were not clean. Other than that it was a lovely relaxing stay and i give it a 4.9 star review.
The cabin was super cute, very relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. There was a Christmas tree set up and it was a beautiful surprise. We would definitely visit again.
Four of us sisters spent 2 nights to celebrate a 50th Birthday and had such a nice time!!
There was a large spacious living room with soo many recliners and throw blankets as well as a cute record player with many selections. Nice tv to watch movies on.
We could have had our own rooms but 2 of us opted to share the loft bedroom above the living room that had 3 queen beds. There is a room above the kitchen accessible by a steep ladder. We thought it was fun and gave âLittle House on the Prairieâ vibes. We didnât stay up there, but it was super nice and would have if we were a younger.
The hot tub was amazing!! It was clean and ready when we arrived. The jets were soo nice and we liked that it was covered so we didnât get rained on.
The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and much more.
If I had to think of something we could have used, it would have been a washer and dryer to clean our bathing suits, but honestly, not a problem for us.
We look forward to staying here again. This time with our husbands.
We are the proud new owners of Paulina Pines Cabin. Delton and I are outdoor enthusiasts, with a love of the great outdoors. From Fishing and hiking, to horseback riding from the high country to the beach, to just hanging out under the pines and stars.
Some of the things we like the most about the area is it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, without being to far away. The quiet of the forest and evening makes our home peaceful, and a great escape from the hustle and bussel of every day life. We hope you love it as much as we do.
