The cabin was very nice but not completely finished. Will be perfect when done. It was very quiet, beautiful and peaceful. St Albans was a cute town with a variety of restaurants.

Serene and quiet area, private lot, kayaks and life jackets easily accessible, and excellent communication with host, did not realize the open/no ceilings in bedrooms, all pots/pans/plates/utensils we needed were at the rental, quite a lot of cob webs/dust (but expected some for a lake house), the BEST sunrise lake view we have seen, easy check out

Just a wonderful place to relax and decompress. Major stores not even 10 minutes away on route 7. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing and the fishing right of the dock was fantastic.

The cabin, detached additional bedroom, and grounds were immaculate. We prepared several meals and barbequed over the weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.The host was most gracious and helpful. Our only regret was not having another few days to enjoy Vermont and this waterfront paradise! The family has already discussed returning next year!

The cottage was very cozy and well kept. It has a beautiful screened porch that we read, ate, and played games. It is directly on the lake with a beautiful view. We took out the kayaks and swam. There is a very nice state park and beach in the town. Plus a Hannafords. We had a wonderful time. The host is very nice and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. The propery was true to the VRBO online description and was very clean, with easy access when we arrived. The "neighborhood" was quiet with easy travel to get groceries or meals out. The host was terrific. Tonja was very responsive to our questions and left us a wonderful Vermont-esque treat upon our arrival. We highly recommend this spot for a quiet getaway in northern VT. Thanks, Tonja!

Great Experience

Great Lake house and wonderful set up. Clean and had all the amenities that were listed. Property manger was so nice and very quick with responding to questions. This is one saved in the books when we come back to VT.

We came into town for a wedding. The whole family came with us. So it was great to have the extra cottage for peace and quiet for the baby. It was definitely family friendly. It was about 15 mins away from downtown. So easy enough to get food or go explore. The water was super low and the state recommended no drinking or swimming in the lake. So i certainly won't hold that against anyone. Kind-of put a damper on the whole weekend. Overall, not a bad cabin with attached cottage

Great camp, amazing views!

This camp had everything we needed for a great stay! From the Keurig for morning coffee, the filtered water spout in the kitchen, the ample space to spread out for four of us, to the window air conditioning units, this place was full of amenities! Sitting on the porch and gazing out on the lake was amazing! Being able to have my boat right there on the property's dock was definitely a game changer. It was very peaceful. Leaving the property, my boys asked if we could make this our annual camp for our special weekend. I agree, I sure hope we're able to!

This trip was just what I was looking for, a get away to relax I was looking for a cabin on the water with a fire pit and grill, this had all of this and then more. We did not want to leave the peace and quiet, I had my coffee on the porch overlooking the water every morning. We hope to go back soon.

Wonderful and peaceful cottage

The time spent at this cottage was just what we hoped for including a beautiful lake view and peaceful screened porch, which was perfect for morning coffee and anytime relaxing. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kayaks, canoe, and corn hole were nice extras! The host was quick to respond to a message and very pleasant. We would definitely return to stay again in the future!

I grew up in Vermont and spent summers on Lake Champlain with family and friends. The pristine water is enjoyable all summer long - for swimming, kayaking, sailing or fishing combined with gorgeous sunrises over Vermont Green Mountains or sunsets over the Adirondacks!

The cottage is located at the far end of the peninsula with minimal traffic but easy access to the town of St. Albans

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I wanted a lovely lake front property to enjoy with my family but be able to proudly rent for those who want to enjoy some peaceful time on the Lake.

The cottage sits on a nice sized piece of waterfront property that offers privacy but also lovely neighbors! No road noise! Just the sounds of water lapping the shore and wonderful dock to swim from, fish from, enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening underneath the stars. Grill dinner and eat outside. Build a bonfire and roast marsh mellows! Sip a glass of wine... just relax!
