Escape to this marvelous house on picturesque Bonny Eagle Pond. This is a band new house with all new appliances, a gorgeous deck spanning the front of the house, and a private backyard. This cozy retreat offers a comfortable stay for guests with 2 bedrooms, including a queen bed, full bed, and twin bed. The space also boasts a beautiful bonus space - a loft with gorgeous views, perfect for a child or game nights as a family. The bathroom is equipped with a jetted bathtub. You'll find everything you need here, including a quiet mini split heat pumps that offer heat and the best cooling around and a brand-new washer/dryer. The waterfront is pathway shared with the seasonal cabin on the property, but each unit has a private patio and dock. There are kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, etc available a short walk down the hill. The lake is gorgeous, quiet, and has a shallow walk in area. There’s a raft to swim to and jump from too! Relax and unwind in this fabulous home away from home. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

Great getaway

This is a property recently renovated - great new appliances, great furnishings, great place to stay. The lake was nice, we had fun hanging out on the dock and using the kayaks.

Girls weekend away

Beautiful property! Quiet area on pond/lake! Hosts were very nice and responded almost immediately to any questions we had. Will come back again!!

This is a beautiful location with great hosts. The house was stocked with so many things that it made life on vacation very easy. The lake is gorgeous, and the hosts provide a multitude of water equipment for the whole family. While in a secluded area inland, Portland, the coast, and interesting places to visit are only a short drive away. Jillian is a great host who is very attentive to guests' needs and extremely responsive and helpful.

We loved our stay. The house is newly renovated, incredibly clean, and well organized. The lake is steps away, the swim dock is fun for the whole family, and the owner provides everything you need, kayaks, life vests, noodles, etc. The pond is calm and shallow near the dock so easy for families to enjoy. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. There is a grocery store and a drug store less than a 10 minute drive. Simply put this is an amazing place to enjoy Maine.

Great place!

The cabin was clean and well maintained. It had 2 bedrooms/1 bath and encompassed the 2nd floor of a house. A good sized space for our family of four. There was also a loft where the kids liked to hang out.The lake was beautiful! We enjoyed hanging on the lake swimming and kayaking. The water was surprisingly warm for June. They also have some nice seating areas set up around the docks. But definitely recommend some bug spray. Location was the best part as it gives you a quiet lake experience while only 35 min drive from all the amenities of Portland. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The home is beautiful and cozy. Each room has individual temp control which is ideal! The laundry is on site and works great. The kitchen was fully stocked and functional. Beds were super cozy, I slept better there than at home! The neighborhood is so quiet and picturesque. There is a table down by the lake we use to enjoy breakfast during sunrise. The lake is clean and warm since it's shallower than other lakes in the area. I suggest water shoes though, the bottom is a bit rocky. There are tons of life jackets to choose from, kayaks, a paddle board, paddle boat, and floaties. Our host was always so responsive and accommodating! Definitely will be back!

Best lake vacation ever renting from VRBO! Host Jillian is most welcoming (arrival "hello" note & sweet treats), friendly and, more importantly, any questions get an immediate response! See her huge & helpful info book, updated annually. Lakehouse is immaculately clean, airy, bright, winding staircase upstairs, and amenities galore. Very large kitchen is equipped with anything & everything you may need to cook and store food. House colors are calming and softly matched. King bedroom is very comfy with a medium-hard bed, small side reading lamps, large dressing bureau, huge closet & plenty of hangers, and extra storage area for other larger items, a large ceiling fan, easy opening windows. Bathroom contains a shower & jetted bathtub, washer & dryer, numerous towels of every size, and cabinet space. Beyond separate room is the bathroom area. Sink has a underneath storage cabinet, as well as a wall shelf. Two mirrors, placed above the sink and on a wall. A colorful bird painting adorns the dining area, having with a large wooden table and long plank seats. Spacious deck area has a comfy L-shaped sitting area and a handy electric grill. The big back yard has a large picnic table with a huge umbrella, chairs & a fire pit. Campfire out front is shared with the property's smaller house. Shared beach is down a little hill if you like to swim of fish. There are nearby restaurants, Low's Convenience store is close by and well-stocked, and Portland is not far. We're coming back!

We bought this property in August of 2023 with the goal of creating a space for our family in the future as well as having a local place to update and make our own. We bought the location as a cabin with an "ADU" - accessory dwelling unit. Over the 2023-2024 year, we turned the garage building into a beautiful house with a loft, utilizing our own skills, time, and energy. As a result, we know every square inch of the place and take great pride in it! We are very proud. We are renting the house and the cabin together and separately, saving some time for ourselves and our families. We are proud to offer it for rent to offset costs, but we are very connected hosts who have been enjoying hearing our guests stories and providing an affordable vacation spot for people from all over the United States.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a quite, sweet little neighborhood with lovely neighbors and some other rentals. It is a tight nit area with people that look out for and care about each other. However, years ago we traveled here to purchase an item from a previous owner. We have thought about this cabin over the years and dreamt about it many times. When it came on the market, we made some pretty big sacrifices to buy it and make it our own because we knew this was likely to be the last chance. People that buy on this road keep their properties and love it here - for good reason!

This property has two units on one property - an original cabin (one of the first on the street) and a new house with a garage. It has a walk down to the water, but the waterfront is part of the property. It is also a very small, quiet pond (lake, according to the state). It is great for relaxing while being very close to many great spots in Maine. It is truly a fun property.
