Clean, quite and absolutely gorgeous views of the lake. swimming was A+. Has a sandy bottom with crystal clear water where you can see all the way to the lake floor. Comfortable new beds and every amenity you could need in the kitchen. Was very enjoyable and will visit again.
We turned off the main road onto a narrow gravel driveway that led us down and through the woods, eventually opening up to the cabin on the lake. Directly off the back deck is a small yard, and a rocky beach adjacent to a sandy beach (owned by the neighbor), facing East over the lake - making for fabulous views of the sunrise. Being late September, it was too cold to swim, however I imagine the swimming would be fantastic during the warmer months. The lake is gorgeous and the water is clean and clear.
The cabin itself is equipped with kitchen utensils, coffee makers, a microwave, refrigerator, and stove. There is also a very small old TV/VHS player with a good selection of movies as well as a plethora of old board/card games to choose from. There are two small wicker "couches" and a table with wooden chairs. Not included are blankets/sheets/pillows, towels, bath mat, shower products, or internet. Overall, it's a nice place to stay if your days are filled up with outdoor activities.
Rocky Beach was a great little cabin with beautiful views and excellent access to a small sheltered beach for kids and pets. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
