My three sisters and I stayed for three nights prior to an Alaskan cruise. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was small but well equipped and we were able to cook breakfast and make snacks with no problems. The living room was also small, but the furniture was comfortable. Our only concern about the living room is that the house sleeps four people, but there are really only enough seats in the living room for three. The two bedrooms were both well laid out with comfortable queen size beds and fresh bedding. The bathroom was a good size and had great water pressure in the shower. There were plenty of towels and toilet tissue for guests to use. We did use the washer and dryer to do some laundry prior to embarking on our cruise and that was very helpful and one of the main things that we had looked for in a house to rent. The house is in a standard residential neighborhood. It was very quiet and we didnât have any issues with noise or anything like that. Our only issue, and itâs a small one, is that the driveway is pretty rutted and our small rental car scraped bottom on the driveway. That meant that we couldnât pull up all the way to the porch to unload our luggage. Overall, itâs a very small detail. The host was responsive and answered our questions quickly both before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
About 15 minutes from Anchorage and the airport. Also convenient to get to other places like Eagle river. The house was perfect for a couple. Very clean, well stocked. Bed was comfy. Neighborhood was quiet. Host was very responsive.
Place was very nice and comfortable. The only thing I would mention is bringing a white noise. I am a light sleeper and there is a busy road nearby and loud music woke up on multiple occasions due to how quiet it was. Would definitely stay again now that Iâm prepared.
We were here for one night, and everything was delightful. Our host went out of her way to ensure that all the equipment was needed for our six-month-old granddaughter traveling with us. Comfy beds, a great place to relax, and very nice and quiet!
Stumbled upon this house while looking for a hotel in Anchorage close to the airport for our last night in Alaska. The hotels around the airport are fairly expensive for a Friday night stay. This house was a new listing and we got a great deal on it! The house was recently renovated and beautiful. It was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Hello. I am a life long Alaskan. I have a passion for travel and exploring new areas of the world. In my travels, I have always preferred staying in short term rental properties versus hotels, as it allows me to feel at home wherever I am. I love being a host because I get to share my passion for comfortable accommodations while traveling right here in my home town!
This neighborhood is quiet and located in a prime location - less than 5 minutes away from Joint Base ElmendorfâRichardson, the UMED district, shopping and restaurants. The home has beautiful views of the Chugach mountains which makes it perfect to see the sunrise. With a trail on the street, it makes it perfect to explore Alaska's beauty.
