Needs a few updates

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that need updating. The sliding door to the laundry area was old and difficult to close. In fact, it never closed complelty. This is the hallway making it diffficlt to move around. The garbage can was also on its last leg. The lid wouldn’t open when using the step. The outside table was an awkward size for the space, it was also difficult to move around it. The living room couch was dirty underneath the blanket used as a couch cover. Despite the small space, it had beautiful views! We had plenty of towels, and it was easy access to the beach. We appreciated the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. Overall, it was a great stay. For the price, we simply expected some simple upgrades to make the place great!

Awesome stay!

The condo was just as nice as the pictures. If I to critique anything it would be the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would refer our family and friends to the condo. See you next year,

August 2022 Stay

This condo was very clean and was fully equipped with everything we needed from beach chairs to kitchen necessities. I am very pleased with our stay. My husband, myself, and our 2 children (11 & 3) will definitely be back. The view was perfect. The master bed was a little uncomfortable but other than that I can’t see that stopping us from booking another stay. Thank you Gibson Beach Rentals for the wonderful experience for our family’s first vacation. -The Thompsons

The beach was so crowded and the pool area was a nice area to get away from some of the craziness on the beach. I did not like my unit. The kitchen was so small for a two bedroom. The design left no room to cook amd get dinner ready for my family.

Nice view, easy access, needs some fixing

Reviewer Comments: + easy access, codes worked well, easy and different renting process (we did not contact/meet anobody in person in the whole process)+ really nice views from the balkony+ safety stay, quiet area+ beach chairs and umbrella were nice + condo had a cute decoration + beach was nice - second bedrooms bed was broken (sunken in one side) and it made a noise - master beds headboard was loose and it was banging against the mirror- master bedroom curtains did not stay closed - there was no fitness area on the property (althouhg it should have been)- shower floor and the property floors would have been more clean (in Finland we don’t use shoes inside the house)Overall we would love to stay in Sandestin area again!

Clean rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renting with Gibson was a great experience and I would rent from them again. I was very happy to get a First Reaponder discount, and everyone I interacted with was great. The process was very easy. This particular condo was clean, small but worked for just two of us. Master bed headboard wasn’t attached and clacked into the mirror wall behind me when I got in and out of bed, and the mattress is okay for one person if you find a small spot to cuddle into, it’s otherwise uneven. View was great from the balcony and I enjoyed sitting out there. I missed having a bathtub, and a view from the master. I would not choose to stay at Sandestin resort again due to the large crowds on the beach. I would have also preferred to have a hot tub, we had some chilly nights. Heated pool was clean and warm for evening swim.

March 2022 Stay

This condo is clean and decorated cute. Kitchen is a one person situation but was fine for us. View from balcony is great, there is no view from either bedroom. I missed having a tub, but the shower is nice. Master bed isn’t very comfortable and also the headboard bangs into the mirror wall behind the bed bc headboard is not attached. That made me nervous. Gibson Beach rentals I would recommend. I won’t stay at Sandestin again though. Beach is way too crowded for my liking. If you go to Baytown Wharf, take the tram or park by tennis courts if parking is full.

Spring break beachfront fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed this condo rental with the beautiful ocean view from 9th floor in a clean building on nice manicured grounds. Pool is heated and kids could swim even though the weather didn’t cooperate much. Parking is convenient and unit was clean. The only issue that we had was me figuring out all the several entry codes into building doors and gates. And the 2 beach chairs were broken but were replaced immediately upon my reporting. Impressive service! Location is quiet and away from any traffic madness. Lots of restaurant choices closeby too. The surf and sand is incredible!!!

Amazing Vacation

We didn’t need them but a nice option. Take advantage of the free activities. Our children loved the activities at Baytown, zip line, trampolines, ropes course. Beds very comfortable, good AC, small but efficient washing machine and dryer. Be conscious of hot water. Small tank and if four people need to shower allow enough time to reheat. Amazing view of the beach and ocean. Was dolphins playing in the surf from balcony. Great place great company to rent from. Highly recommend.

Quick Trip

This property was in a great location! We just stayed for a few days and it was good for a quick trip. Probably wouldn’t have stayed in this particular condo for any longer than a few days, just because it didn’t have those cozy qualities. When I pay this much for a condo I would have expected a little more luxury and just didn’t get that with this one. It is a much better fit for those who don’t plan to be in the room very much.

Beautiful but small!

The condo was a beautiful location on beach with a great view and access to the beach and pool. The patio was where we spent a lot of our time. The condo was decorated nicely but in need of some improvements for the money. It was enough space for us but more people in the unit would be a stretch the bathroom is tiny and the two doors that open and hit each other. There were also quite a few attention to detail things that need some work. The toilet paper racks hangs crooked so it falls off, the closet door came off track the moment we got there and the floor strip between bedroom and hall came off. The beds were honestly some of the WORST beds I have stayed at anywhere including basic hotels. That includes everywhere in the unit. A good nights sleep is impossible here. For the cost of the place, the beds absolutely need to be replaced with a worthwhile mattresses! I have stayed at Vrbo quite a few times and had way more basic supplies, maybe that has changed with Covid but don’t having much of anything here. Thank you ! Great trip!!

Had a great time on our trip!! Great location on the beach. Condo was small but was the only thing on the beach itself that was affordable when we booked. Kitchen was small. Two people could not fit in there at the same time. Bathroom updated but sloppy cosmetic details. Property had great amenities though.

Building needs updating

The power went out for sixteen hours early in our stay. We lost all of our perishables we had just purchased. An old transformer went out. Mgt did refund us for more than a days value. All elevators were out for at least a day. The property needs to get on top of maintaining and even updating things. We went stay here again,

Great Location Good Property

The location was AMAZING. Check in process and technicalities were perfect and very easy. There is a ton to do around the property. The place was spotless and the kitchen fully equipped so we were able to cook most days. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 put of 5 stars is the mattresses and the bed frames. I beg the owner to please please go and get new mattresses at least. It was like sleeping on top of a board or a box spring. We checked out rhe night before our departure purely because of the state of the mattresses. We had 2 adults and 3 children and all of us had the same issue. Look, we loved the place and would come back again but I can see where the sleep comfort could be an issue for not just us but also for the next group of guests.
