Beautiful house with beautiful views. The house felt very clean and well cared for. The house is down a gravel road, but easily accessible and made it nice to feel a little more secluded on the lake. The listing currently describes there being only 1 king bed, but we were grateful to also find a king bed instead of a queen in one of the guest room upstairs. The AC went out on the top floor our first night there, but the property manager was responsive and able to get a crew out to fix the AC the same day it was reported.

We loved staying at this house and so did our guests. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The property manager does a great job. The house had some beach towels, plenty of trash bags, extra toilet paper, etc. (most homes don't) Outdoor porches could use some cleaning, but we were able to find a broom on property and handle that easily as needed. Porches came in handy when it rained so that we could still enjoy the outdoors. Grill works great and we really enjoyed the covered floating deck- love that it has lights/fans out there on the water! Water was great for swimming and floating, beautiful view of the sunset.

Great location and house

This home had a lot of offerings and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The dock was a great plus and the location on the lake was perfect. Easy access to the big water and a short run to the marina

Fantastic home

Fantastic house and location. You do have to meet the property manager during check-in, no keypad on door for entry.

Beautiful home with gorgeous dock and lake view

We had everything we needed for a family gathering. This house is on the large part of the lake ...which is so nice for tubing and wakeboarding. The house is very clean, well stocked and has a lot of space to hang out. The host, Brian, was very helpful. We highly recommend this house!

Location, views , dock and inside space was excellent. Plenty of beach towels & regular towels. The decor and floors are beautiful. We were a group of 7 (4adults & 3 children)and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy and relax. There are two refrigerators one on main floor & one on lower level.We rented pontoon and kept it on outside of dock. If you trailer a boat and keep trailer there it could be tricky.Inside house was decently clean but the outside porches were covered in pollen, dirt and spider webs. Brian was helpful in bringing us a broom, mop and blower to remove enough to not track it inside. Spent over an hour cleaning outdoor furniture, floors and removing spider webs. Was informed cleaning people are not responsible for outside area. Would rent again if we were not responsible for cleaning the 3 porches.

Sweet Home Wedowee

Family stayed here over Thanksgiving. By far, one of the most memorable stays we’ve experienced in Wedowee. Booked online but seeing far exceeded expectations. Met Brian (Property Mgr) onsite and immediately felt like home! His pleasant & warm demeanor made us feel immediately welcome👍 Beautiful home, spacious, accommodating and quiet setting on water 😎 Family enjoyed and would book again without hesitation!😃

Our stay was amazing!! The house has been updated beautifully and the pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The lake view is breathtaking from the house, and the private dock is a little slice of heaven! Our property manager was so nice and helpful. We’re from CA and stayed for the weekend to go to Talladega. The only thing we were not expecting were the scorpions! There were 10 (we counted) LIVE scorpions on the first floor that we found our first night there, and found many more dead ones. They were very little and not harmful but something to be aware of for our next trip to the South. Nonetheless, lovely lovely stay and a beautiful lakeside home! Would absolutely book again. The nearby downtown area is so cute too, the little coffee shop was our favorite treat!

This home was beautiful! I gave it a four star rather than five for very few things - some not the fault of the home. Just rating it to my needs. The interior of the home was spotless and beautifully appointed - except for the amount of toilet paper. It was listed as an amenity, but not really supplied for a family of nine. The screened porches - which were really appreciated - weren't as clean as they could have been. Especially the one off the main bedroom. The second story dock was also in need of a thorough cleaning, & one of the couches on the dock was broken and not usable. There was a photo of an outdoor swing that was not usable. It was down on the ground, not anchored to stay up. The ceilings were very high, causing there to be extra stairs indoors. I have very bad knees, so the additional steps, inside and out, caused me to not walk around as freely as I would have liked. (My problem, not the home.) Also this home is down a few not well-maintained roads and a little farther from town than I would have liked. The last full day there, the city had the road completely torn up, making it impossible for us to leave the house. Disappointing being we saved going 'antiquing' until that last day. This was not the problem of the home, but a miscommunication of the city. The home was beautiful, comfortable, loved the screened porches, accommodated nine very easily, very easy to communicate with the host & the view of the lake was unbeatable! We all had a very nice time.
