The Space

Escape to your perfect vacation home at Blue Ridge Dream, where every season is a new adventure! With 6 spacious bedrooms, including 3 king beds and 3.5 bathrooms, our property comfortably accommodates 8-10 guests. This 3-story home has a large living room, an open kitchen, formal dining room, large media room and 2 car garage with parking for 3 additional cars outside. The maximum number of cars allowed on the property are 5 total cars.

The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor and features a walk-in closet, double vanity, and a spacious walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with a new gas stove, French door refrigerator, and elegant granite countertops, and opens to the cozy living room with a gas fireplace.

Entertain guests in the media room or formal dining area on the front side of the home, both offering stunning mountain views. Step outside onto the large wrap-around deck with a gas grill, accessible from 3 entries on the main floor. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, an office nook, and a full bathroom with double vanity. The basement suite includes a full bathroom, a large bedroom with French doors, and an efficiency kitchen with a fridge and microwave.

No parties or events are allowed and we have exterior floodlight cameras that face away from the house towards the driveway and mountain side so we can know when our housekeeping staff arrive and depart. The property has 2 flights of stairs with 4 total stairways, so stair climbing is required and the property is not wheelchair accessible. The driveway is steep and in the winter an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended.

Conveniently located in South Asheville, Blue Ridge Dream is just a 15-minute drive from Biltmore Village, only 20 minutes from downtown, and less than 5 minutes from the closest Whole Foods, retail shops, and restaurants. Visit local wineries and breweries, check out the excellent local food scene, and enjoy a wide variety of local arts and outdoor activities that Asheville is renowned for. Lyft, UBER and food/grocery delivery services are available to this location. You will love the serenity of this mountain-side retreat. Great girls weekend getaway! The house easily slept 12 people with lots of places to hang out inside of the house. Could use a few more chairs around the dining table to seat large groups, but that's it.

A fabulous property

We had three families and having 6 rooms was perfect ! We all appreciated the top level choices the owners made- like good soaps, filtered water, toilet paper, not locking up supplies (yes we had one property allow us x garbage bags for a 3 day stay and we had to call for more). We loved the large tv room with enough seating for everyone, the art tv in the smaller living room and having manuals for the appliances! The towels were fluffy, the water pressure good and there were plenty of towels for the spa. The kitchen was roomy and worked well for making breakfast and dinners for the whole crew.The location is convenient to many things, while at the same time allowing you to feel secluded in the woods. We even saw big cat prints on the deck. A 10 out of 10!

This property is well managed and clean! The view from the front rooms and hot tub are spectacular (huge deck to enjoy sunrise/sunset)! All rooms are a good size. Showers have great pressure. If you grill, it's gas, super easy and convenient as there's a door directly to the kitchen - perfect location. Beds are comfy, quality sheet sets and pillows. Solid construction ( no creaky steps or floors meant late sleepers weren't bothered by the early risers). This host put several very thoughtful touches, like having toilet paper when you arrive, and high quality hand soaps and dish washer detergent! These seem like little things but so many times we've paid for a "luxury" place, only to have to go out and get a bunch of basic supplies (like a dish sponge or hand soap) that we'll only get a tiny bit of use out of. Another example, the Gas grill is piped in (so you don't have to get a propane tank).Neighborhood is upscale and neighbors are quite but friendly if you are out walking dogs or strolling. The house is secluded and private. Wonderful huge family room for movie night or games. 2nd TV in living room that can be seen from the kitchen so everyone cooking can enjoy the TV without missing anything.Plenty of silverware, plates, cups, toaster, coffee maker, gas stove. Decent supply of pots and pans in good shape. Everything was very clean and roomy for our two grand parents (82yo) three young adults and two middle agers. Would recommend!

The house offered beautiful views (including a young bear!), plenty of room for 10 people, and was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was fantastic for downtown and some surrounding wineries/breweries. Host communication was also excellent. We had such a great time and would love to stay again!!

Leanne and I have been hosting for over 2 years now at our vacation house on Lake Keowee in Upstate South Carolina and decided to recently do the same for this mountain house property in Asheville, which we call Blue Ridge Dream. We are both lovers of all things Asheville, the mountains, outdoors, hiking, enjoying nearby restaurants and breweries, and all the fantastic art and soul that is Asheville. We hope you enjoy this space and town as much as we do and please make yourself at home here!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with the panoramic mountain views (over 180 degrees surround view in the winter), sunrises and sunsets, and secluded hilltop location. On almost 2 acres, it is very private and we enjoy that the most.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The 1,200 square feet wrap around second floor deck, hot tub and mountain views are amazing. Stargazing and moonlit nights are absolutely amazing here and sometimes the morning mist comes all the way up to the house. It is almost like living in the clouds up here.
