Experience gorgeous sunrises and spectacular panoramic mountain views from this mountain top home in Big Canoe. Relax and soak in the view surrounded by peace and quiet - you might even spot a Bear. Spend time luxuriating in the hot tub nestled in the mountains. The well appointed home is perfect for extended families enjoying the spacious accomodations, bright and airy rooms and the gourmet kitchen. You also have access to all the Big Canoe ammenities if you choose: golf, tennis, pickle, fitness center, pool, fishing, kayaking, paddleboard, beach the Sconti Clubhouse Restaurant.
Enter the home and you are immediately drawn to the back wall with floor to ceiling windows. The view is truly spectacular.
The family room has a stone gas fireplace for instant ambiance. Play the family games provided, relax and watch tv, or just stare out the window and enjoy your own meandering thoughts in this tranquil space.
The open floor plan continues into the gourmet kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make meals on your own. You can also have it stocked with groceries and special meals to enjoy during your stay. Note the Sunrise Breakfast option that includes gourmet cinnamon rolls, frittata, fruit, coffee and mimosas. There couldn't be a better way to start your day!
There are also snack, dessert and drink options available so you can just enjoy you stay instantly with none of the prep!
The bedrooms all include their own bathrooms and each offer something a little unique, everyone in your group should be happy with their accomodation - there is no bad room!
The downstairs family room is stocked with lots of games, there is ping pong in the garage, a space for your dog if you chose to bring them along.
You could stay quite entertained in the house and within Big Canoe, but the surrounding area offers a lot as well ... great restaurants, vineyards, hiking, music, apple picking ... ask us for suggestions if you are interested!

Absolutely LOVED!

Our family stayed at this glorious house for our Christmas vacation. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The house had everything we needed! It was clean, spacious, amazing views, comfy beds and sofas and our fur baby was happy as well. The house has plenty of parking, beautiful chefs kitchen and we even saw a few bears. This community also has a ton of activities to enjoy. We will definitely stay here again!

Room with a view

Kim is a wonderful and gracious host. She was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. Beautiful property with tons of space and a great location. Every morning we were greeted with a breath taking sunrise and nights were cool and quiet. This will not be our last visit.

The property was fantastic, overlooking the mountains and Big Canoe. We watched the fireworks from the deck and many in the distance. The accommodations were excellent and well-equipped with all the necessities for a wonderful experience. The home was spacious and well-decorated to provide a comfortable stay. The location was centrally located to all of the amenities. Big Canoe is a wonderful gated community with privacy and beautiful homes. I'm looking forward to future bookings. Our stay at Mountain Whimsy was absolutely fantastic. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated, and it had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The views were breathtaking, and we spent every morning enjoying coffee on the deck watching the sunrise. The kitchen was better equipped than our own at home, which made cooking a joy. It's a perfect location for a relaxing “Girls-Trip” getaway, with plenty of games and a comfortable living space for everyone to gather. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket left for us by the host.Words and pictures don't do this place justice. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease and at home. Communication with Kim was seamless, and she provided excellent recommendations for the local area. We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely Breathtaking!

We were in the are for a baseball tournament. Three families stayed together. This house hit every box we needed! We never felt like we were on top of each other. The community offers plenty of things to do for the entire family. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Sunrises every morning did not disappoint. The owner was always available to answer questions and willing to do whatever it took to accommodate us. There was also a ton of hiking and a cute center at the north end exit of the community that is a “must do” area to go to! We will definitely be going back so we can enjoy the beautiful golf course next time!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this amazing home on Toland Mountain Ridge within the Big Canoe community! The spectacular views and stunning sunrises made every moment special. As a three-generation family of seven, including our pups, we found the home setup to be absolutely perfect—plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Every bedroom featured an ensuite bathroom, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep for all. The spacious kitchen was a highlight, offering ample space for our whole group to cook and gather together. The large deck provided comfortable lounging with those breathtaking views, and the hot tub was a delightful treat after long days at the Beach Club or pontooning on the lake.Having booked many VRBO homes, I can confidently say this one stands out as the best ever in every way! The Big Canoe location added an extra layer of charm, and the owner was incredibly reachable, welcoming, and helpful, enhancing our overall wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!
