Ce cottage lumineux est situé sur un chemin de terre calme offrant une promenade facile à 4 / 10ème de mile de la plage de Skaket. Doté de 2 chambres au premier niveau, une avec un lit queen size et la seconde avec 2 lits jumeaux. Il y a aussi une configuration ouverte et confortable avec un salon et une cuisine / salle à manger rénovée. Il y a un canapé-lit double dans le salon pour un couchage supplémentaire. La cour a une grande terrasse et beaucoup de mobilier d'extérieur pour toute la famille, avec un gril à gaz pour les barbecues d'été. La douche extérieure est spacieuse et très privé - parfait pour rincer après une journée sur la plage de Skaket! We keep coming back because it is an ideal location for a couple or small family that wants to be active but also relax. It's an easy walk to the beach and an easy ride to the bike trail. Close to the town center but located off of major roads. The house is well equipped and clean.

Great get-away property and spot

Reviewer Comments: This year, we spent three weeks in August and had a great time. The property is well located close to the beach (Bay side), central Orleans, the rail trail, and Route 6. It's a perfect house for a couple who are "halfcationing," since there is space to spread out if we have work to do. The outdoor shower is a gem. Our only serious criticism this year is that the central air was out and the window ACs were underpowered and loud. I trust that will be fixed in the future and won't affect our desire to return again.

Another great time in Orleans

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the third time we have stayed at this property, but the first time we've stayed for two weeks. There are several things that keep up coming back: the location (10-minute walk to the beach, a bike ride away from town center and the rail trail, and near 6 to get to the rest of the Cape), the outdoor shower, the deck, and the quiet of the neighborhood. The house has everything we needed. The kitchen and bath rooms are up to date. We usually have to do work while here, so it's possible to get separate work spaces--one in the kitchen and the other in the basement. We're just a couple, but the house could comfortably fit six people--with many more, if you want to put people on cots.

Charming Cape in a great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place for a couple to stay, and I can imagine it would be great for a medium-sized family. The house is comfortable and well maintained. On a quiet private road. It is a short walk to a very nice bayside beach. Close to the bike trail. Well maintained grounds. Nice backyard deck. (The umbrella could be a bit bigger...) It looks like the downstairs bath and laundry facilities are relatively new. Upstair a little older, but not dated. GREAT outdoor shower. Well stocked kitchen.

A Gem of a Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at 8 Blueberry Island Road. The house was lovely and in a perfect location. We especially enjoyed our short 6 minute walk to the private beach and the spacious outdoor shower. To our surprise the bird feeder was filled upon our arrival and we enjoyed watching the numerous birds, the bunnies, and boxed turtle on the property. The spacious deck and well maintained outdoor lawn mowed by Sully was wonderful. The layout of the house was great and the finished basement was a great addition as my daughter and her husband had the whole downstairs to themselves. The only complaint we have about our stay was the couch and two chairs in the living room that were very stiff and very uncomfortable to sit on. We left the home cleaner than we found it and we thank the owners for sharing this gem of a home with us from June 19th-July 3rd. A 25th Wedding Anniversary that my husband and I with our two daughters and son-in-law will treasure for many years to come. Thank you!

Very nice property

We liked it very much with the following exceptions. Deck needs a good power wash and need a blower available to clean daily. Way to difficult for a broom. The living room couch is awful as is the television, Both need to be replaced. Other than that it was very clean and well kept. We liked it very much and would rent again.
