Since your stay, we’ve updated our check-in instructions to clearly specify exactly which lockbox to use and added clearer guidance for operating the keypad in the entry area. We always want arrivals to be smooth and stress-free, and your note helped us improve that process. Extra bedding We truly apologize for the delay in getting the additional bedding delivered. The apartment is indeed set up to welcome three guests, and bedding should have been available from the first night. This has been addressed internally to ensure it doesn’t happen again. A comfortable, relaxing stay We’re glad you found the apartment sweet, comfortable, and restful — and you are right: the location is wonderfully quiet in the winter. The access code was provided, but it appears there was a delay in it updating in the system — something that was quickly resolved and has since been fully corrected to ensure smooth arrivals moving forward. Cleanliness & Maintenance Your comments regarding the bathroom and kitchen were surprising, as our cleaning team is usually praised for their work. That said, we take any concern seriously. Immediately after your stay, we inspected everything you mentioned: The bathroom and kitchen were professionally deep-cleaned The shampoo/conditioner dispensers were reinstalled and sealed properly The toilet paper holder, dripping sink, and toilet refill issue were all repaired The A/C condensation mark was treated and repainted The front door alignment was adjusted We want to reassure future guests that all issues have been thoroughly addressed. Coffee machine & equipment Regarding the coffee machine, the model was recently upgraded but the listing photos had not yet been updated — that has now been corrected. It’s also been fully cleaned and tested to ensure proper functioning for future guests. Floors As with many charming older buildings in this historic neighborhood, some natural creaking is expected. However, we inspected the flooring to make sure everything is safe, stable, and in good condition. Communication We did receive your message during your stay, and we apologize sincerely if you felt it wasn’t acknowledged. Your feedback was noted and shared with our maintenance team, which is why everything was addressed right after checkout.
