We loved Foxwood Mansion. Loved the game rooms, with pool table, video games, theater room. Enjoyed the 2 hot tubs. Enjoyed the decks every morning and evening . Views were beautiful. Plan to return .
Plenty of room to spread out, great location and views. The amenities couldnât be beat. Perfect setting for a great family gathering! Communication with management company was always quick and responsive.
Our family loved everything about Foxwood Mansion! The rooms with their own bathrooms were just great. We had plenty of room to enjoy each other as well as sitting quietly alone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and baking! The kids loved both game rooms! The views from each balcony were beautiful! Definitely one of our best family reunions!
This place is so cute ol. We brought our asst mgrs. here and it was best thing ever. We stayed during pandemic theres so much to do in mansion. Grilled out, played cards and games, watched movies and laughed a lot. I recommend this place itâs perfect for families and groups.
The cabin we stayed at for our college student retreat offered a mixed bag of experiences.
Checking in? Smooth as butterâno hiccups, the code worked flawlessly. The location had its highs and lows; nestled in nature with great views, but it was a visual trickâconcealing a busy road humming below. However, this location did mean that it took a solid 20 minutes to get anywhere.
The amenities were mostly spot on. The theater room was fantastic for presentations, and the open spaces made hosting a breeze. However, the air hockey table was only half-functional, and the hot tubsâwell, redâs lights a bold color, but a bit more variety in lighting and some bubbles wouldâve been welcome.
Cleanliness and comfort couldâve been better. While my bathroom had gaps showing the subfloor (not exactly five-star), it was the student rooms that took the hitâfans that didnât work and some outdoor rocking chairs broken beyond use. Still, the cabin suited our group pretty well, but a bit more TLC could have made it perfect.
Host communication was excellentâthey were patient with a payment issue and responsive throughout. And though the woods gave us the illusion of peace, the traffic noise from the road underneath was a constant buzz.
Overall, the cabin was good, but it didn't quite live up to its potential. I'd consider staying again, but Iâd check other options as well.
Great setting for family dinners and games. The bedrooms were so comfortable everyone kept sleeping in. Location was great so we could easily get to all the attractions in Gatlinburg.
Overall great property and layout is perfect for a big group. We had a few minor issues- one oven and one hot tub didnât work during our week long stay. Several people came out to look at them but no resolution. Movie room was amazing and used most evening.s. Had a wonderful week and would recommend for large groups.
It was a great location and facilities for our family reunion.
Foxwood Mansion was a great facility for 29 adult people with the number of rooms and baths. The large kitchen and dining room were very good for food preparation and family activities. The game area, the theater plus the view from the porch were icing on the cake.
Beautiful property with spectacular views! Well appointed and plenty of space. Very clean. Convenient location to nearby attractions. Easy check in and out.
My only complaint with this property is that the air hockey table in one of the video games was not working. However there are plenty of things to do without these two items and we had a blast looking forward to doing it again next year.
5 stars ..EXCELLENT..!!! This was the most beautiful Properties in the Smoky Mts...that we have every seen...it was breath taking... Our stay was wonderful...and we will be back...Thanks Barba...for all your excellent help with everything... Thanks again...
The house was beautiful and the view from the deck was astounding. When we arrived at 4pm to check in, the cleaners were still there. We were told the previous group had left late, and had left it a mess. By 4:30, we were getting anxious...all of our guests were waiting to get access to the house. At this point, the cleaners allowed us to go in the areas that were done. They finished at 4:45 and we finally had access to the whole house. That same night we had to make a run to the local grocery store because we had run out of toilet paper and garbage bags. Now I don't expect them to supply those items for the entire stay, but you would think they'd give us enough for the first night. Furthermore, the hot tubs were scummy...it was obvious they hadn't been cleaned. And the grill wasn't working. So I was quite upset when I called management, and they acted like they couldn't care less. It went something like this: "I'm not sure when someone can come out, it's not like it's an emergency." I get that dirty hot tubs and broken grills aren't an emergency. But do you realize how frustrating it is to spend money on a vacation rental where you can't check in on time, it's poorly stocked/cleaned, AND management tells you they don't care?
Good thing the house was so amazing.
