The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs as a large group. It is very centrally located and in an ideal spot for exploring DC. While the group appreciated the cleanliness and care of the property, we did find some of the house rules- such as no food or drink in the bedrooms and removing street shoes indoors- a bit restrictive. While we did understand the intent behind them, as responsible adults, we typically expect a bit more flexibility during our stay. A more relaxed approach to these types of rules would make the experience feel more welcoming and comfortable.

Perfect home for Georgetown Graduation weekend

This home is immaculate and well stocked with all things to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The neighborhood has a Wegmans, Trader Joe’s and a Whole Foods close by. Solid Core and Core Power Yoga near by as well. From coffee including K-cups and a well stocked kitchen allows you to enjoy family time. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. It’s about a 20 min walk to the Georgetown University campus. The host Shanti left a graduation decoration out for us which was very thoughtful.

Excellent on all accounts!

Clean, easy communication with owner, perfect fit for six co-workers with room to space and we loved being in walking distance of restaurants etc. Pretty neighborhood to walk in as well. Beautfiul house.

Great house for a big group

Our group of 11 long-time college friends rented the property for our annual long weekend getaway. The house is exactly as pictured, and the location is close to Glover Park and Georgetown amenities. Beds and furniture are comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics needed for light cooking, plus two coffee pots, a toaster oven, and air fryer. Each floor has its own kitchen/kitchenette and living area, which would be perfect for multi-family groups. Our group’s only regret is that the property has lovely decks and a beautiful patio, but very little outdoor furniture to use to enjoy the nice weather.

Family Retreat

The layout of this facility and its many accommodations were perfect for celebrating the "Destination Baptism" for our 5 month old we'd been planning since fall. A foosball table, Ping Pong table, lot of dishware, servingware and flatware in the main kitchen, all working appliances and beautiful bathroom facilities, all made for a very smooth stay!

Amazing place

This place was just as listed. It is great for a large family or separate families each floor has all of its Own kitchen the whole place was spotless and had everything you needed in it. I would highly recommend this.

Perfect for Extended Families

We had several generations in town for a family wedding and this was an excellent venue, with all the bed and bathrooms we could need, kitchen facilities on each floor, and plenty of space for both gathering and private time when needed. Having everything we could ask for in this property was one less thing to concern ourselves with on this important weekend. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Holiday stay

We had a great time as a family in this large house. It’s close to downtown and easy to access and park. The owners were very accommodating of making sure we had what we needed during our stay. Highly recommend this house for a large group.

Perfect for our purposes

Our close extended family gathered for the memorial service for a beloved too-young family member. The house provided both common space and private areas for our use. It was perfect for our purposes. The sleeping spaces were flexible, the parking was a godsend, and the location was convenient to the site of the service. Thank you to the hosts for a clean, accommodating stay. We would stay there again if need be.

Great House, great location.

We stayed at this house two different times with an exchange group. This house was incredibly comfortable and useful. We use the large kitchen for home-cooked breakfasts and the middle floor for a meeting space for our meetings. They even purchased a projector for us to use during the exchange. The hosts went out of their way to communicate and support us. I am so grateful we stayed at this house and I highly recommend it to any large group.

The house elevated our experience.

This house was an incredible space for our exchange delegation to stay. It was comfortable and luxurious. I highly recommend for a large group. it is within walking distance to many restaurants and a grocery store. We did family style breakfasts and used the common space for our official meetings.

Great House for Family Gathering!

We had a large family group that attended a funeral in DC. This house helped the family heal better vs. a hotel because we could all stay together. Lots of bedrooms, baths, etc. Owner was very responsive throughout the entire process and accommodated our schedule. Thank-you!

Great property - wonderful amenities super easy process

We had a great experience at our retreat. It was 11 people and we came together to plan out the coming year. Each person has their own space and there was plenty of bathrooms, showers, beds, couches, etc. for us to feel like we could have some breathing room. Would absolutely stay here again.

Family visit to DC

After much searching for a VRBO that would comfortably fit a family of 13 we reserved this fantastic house. Close to DC and Georgetown area, this location was perfect. We were greeted at the house by Mr. D. who graciously showed us around the property. The home has 3 complete floors of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas. Also on-site parking is available which is a major plus in the dc area. A very walkable neighborhood with great restaurants and shops nearby.

Great DC family trip

This was the perfect house for our family get together. Three generations in the same house with lots of space for everyone. A short walk to a playground for the kiddies and shopping and restaurants for all our types of eaters. We had a great stay!
