This property had adequate amenities for a very comfortable stay. The area was quiet and unintrusive. The location is central to many area activities, as well as many northern Michigan landmarks and sites.
It was one problem after another. First with the lockbox, had a hard time getting it to open if your even a hair off its not opening. Second, pool pass was expired...didnt get new one until next day.Third, Electrical problems, bathroom lights kept turning off. Also if your planning on cooking make sure to not run at the same time or you will blow a breaker....for real. Two of the 3 windows didnt open bent screen. This was a disaster. Also if you have a problem with stairs....this is not your place ....steep stairs....my foot was bigger than the stairs....challenging to get your stuff upstairs. I would not recommend, very small. Also if you search up torch lake it says 6.95 mi....more like 20-25 miles
The area we stayed at was nice and quiet. It was dated and not very comfortable with a family of 5-6 in the room. We were very crowded and no privacy really for changing clothes. The bathroom was super small so trying to change in there and dry off was very tight. We never did find the outdoor pool but didnât look too hard. Our children loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Overall was a nice stay, would just love to see it updated. Oh, and you couldnât run too many things at once on the outlets or the fuse would go out so that was sort of bothersome when we had a few different people in the one room.
