Aug & Sept dates available at Tropical Winds #703!
Tropical Winds #703 is a beachfront 7th floor condo with an exceptional view of the Gulf of Mexico. Within walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment. Large oceanfront area with a new pool and loungers. Two beach chairs, four beach towels, beach umbrella and small cooler provided. Book in advance for better prices.
The condo is well-furnished, roomy and clean with all the comforts of home plus some extras. There are relaxing beaches, lots of places to walk or hike and a great variety of restaurants all close by. The balcony has a great view of the gulf where you can spot passing dolphins, watch a variety of seabirds or just soak up some sun.
Perfect location for the beach weekend we were looking for. Cindy and Christopher were very communicative, and the condo was clean and peaceful to stay in!
My husband and I stayed here a few years ago and this stay was wonderful as well. You canât get a better location. Itâs right on the beach and we had everything we needed. We look forward to coming back!
It's very family friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was perfect for us. It had all the comforts of home. Very beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again!!!
Exactly as listed. Well appointed beachfront condo. Great experience and communication throughout the process. Convenient to restaurants and a short drive to attend a concert at The Wharf.
We enjoyed our stay and we loved the views from the balcony. We did have a small issue with the master door opening to the balcony, but we were finally able to get it opened. We also had a couple of chairs and a boogie board stolen when we left them in the area by the pool. As for the condo itself, it was very nice, well stocked, and the access to it was wonderful. Would stay again!
What a great view! We had a great time and everything (besides the weather) went real smooth.
The location is great as well. We walked to breakfast and the shops when weather permitted.
We will definitely keep this on our short list when we return to Gulf Shores.
The one thing I'll remember is to get an umbrella for the beach.
Thanks for a great place and time!
This unit at Tropical Winds is newly renovated and immaculately clean! The decor was very "beachy" and very relaxing. It was a great location on the beach and great views of the ocean. The pool was nice too! This condo is close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. We went bike riding in Gulf State Park and went to a restaurant called "The Gulf" with lovely views of the water. The people that own and manage this property at Tropical Winds are very nice. Would love to come visit again!
We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was very clean, granite countertops in the kitchen, which was well furnished, and new appliances. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed! The view of the beach is incredible. Since the building is smaller, the beach area is not as crowded like the high rise buildings. It is very close to great restaurants, including The Hangout, where we enjoyed taking our daughters to the pirate and princess breakfast. We will return, can't wait for our next visit!

Gordon spoiled the party
We loved the condo. The owners were so accommodating. The condo is very comfortable and very well supplied. We had a couple days of great beach/pool time until we made the decision to leave early due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Gordon. We have been coming to this condo building for 4-5 years and love it. Quiet but close enough to other events/areas.
Perfectly located on the beach. Such a short stroll. Not crowded like neighboring condo buildings as this condo is smaller. My favorite was drinking coffee on the balcony watching dolphins play and other sea creatures swim by- early in the morning. Pool was perfect. Had a few extra touches other places Iâve stayed have not. Thank you again.
The condo was awesome....Very clean and well maintained!! Beautiful ocean front view. The beach was never overcrowded. We enjoyed staying in this smaller complex. I believe there are a total of 8 floors with 4 condos per floor. Yes, there is only 1 elevator but we never had to wait for a long period of time. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this condo. My family and I had a wonderful time. We will definitely be staying here again.
Thanks!
The condo was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of cooking supplies. It was a comfortable place to spend a week.
The view was wonderful & we enjoyed watching the dolphins from the balcony each morning. The beach was busier than we are used to but we were also there during a holiday week.
The WiFi needs to be upgraded, it isnt secure & made it difficult to be able do what work was necessary and uneasy to check bank accounts online. It was constantly throwing our devices offline. Not sure if that's a building issue or something that the owners can change.
We loved this unit at the Tropical Winds, a small condo complex directly on the beach. It is tastefully decorated with a "beachy" feel; the light colors (blues, yellow, and soft green) are relaxing to the eye and spirit, and make the condo seem even larger than it is. The artwork inside is very pretty; the entire condo is tastefully decorated. The condo is set back a little from the beach, in between the two condos on the left and right, and there is a midpoint banister on the balcony (as shown in the pictures - What were those architects thinking?), so your view of the beach is partially obstructed, and you cannot see up and down the entire beach like you might be able to in other condos. Nevertheless, the view is sufficient enough. We had a few hours of angst because we had not heard anything from the property manager six days before our arrival and could not get a response through the email listed, so I called VRBO's customer service to verify the authenticity of our reservation. They gave me Jayne's phone number since it is not shown with the property listing (This is a need since VRBO recommends that prospective clients actually talk to a property owner or manager before booking); I talked to her, and she gave me all access information over the phone so all was well. We had a wonderful week at the condo and would love to stay here again!
Condo was awesome- building and âamenitiesâ pitiful
Iâd have to say the condo itself was very impressive. The owners were great on communicating with us and the only issue we had ( fuse was out on stove ) was resolved quickly.
The problems had was with the building. You canât call a room that ONLY has a treadmill- a fitness center. Having a fitness center at our location was one of the deciding factors in choosing that condo too.
Also, we couldnât never sit our on our patio nightly and evenly rarely in the morning because of all the other tenants smoking marijuana on their decks. Iâm not a smoker but we ALL knew what that smell was. Other problems that occurred was glass was around the pool numerous times and on two separate occasions that week - mind you on days apart. Two people got cut by the glass. One of the injured in her 20âs and the other was a 4 year old child. The management never enforced loud music issues that occurred on numerous floors above and below us. They really one seemed concerned about the parking lot and passes than the other problems especially garbage all around the building, or making sure Lucky the dog didnât go in the elevator. We enjoyed our vacation and the room but will be looking at other options if we would ever return to Gulf Shores.
