The lake is totally spring fed, with crystal clear water and ideal for swimming.
Just 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa, it offers ultimate relaxation and privacy in a tranquil forest setting.
Enjoy swimming, lounging, and BBQing on the expansive deck, complete with a hot tub overlooking the lake.
The home features large windows, providing bright, airy spaces ideal for the whole family. Your perfect getaway awaits!
This 4 acre property features the main cottage and the `bunkie,` a self-sufficient mini apartment with its own living and dining space, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Perfect for extended family or those seeking extra privacy, the bunkie is situated above the garage next to the main cottage. Both offer stunning lake views.
Both the bunkie and main home have AC to keep our guests comfortable during hot summer days
As you enter the main cottage, you will be greeted by cathedral ceilings, large airy windows facing the lake, and beautiful wooden beams.
First Floor: Spacious, fully equipped kitchen, ample dining room, bright living space, and one full bathroom next to a bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
Mezzanine: Two large, bright bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen sized bed with scenic lake views.
Basement: Features a ping-pong table, comfy couch, and a large Smart TV with streaming services like Prime and Netflix, perfect for rainy days.
Outside:
Step onto the spacious deck with comfy furniture, outdoor dining, and a hot tub overlooking the lake.
Lake Access:
Gradual water entry with a sandy bottom lake.
Canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards provided for your enjoyment.
This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and outdoor adventure, ensuring a memorable stay for all guests.

Quiet neighbourhood with long term residents situated on a clean calm lake
There are lots of great outdoor activities nearby such as skating in the forest(Lac des loups 7min away), miles of cross country ski trails and ski hills away such as: Vorlage, only 20 minutes away, Edelweiess, Camp Fortune and Mont Cascades. The area also boasts walking trails, maple shacks and you can even snowshoe or ski right out the door and onto the lake once frozen! Return home and cozy up with the electric fireplace. On cold winter days, challenge your family to a game of ping pong, or relax with Netflix or a DVD on the huge TV.
Wakefield has amazing local restaurants, bakeries, boutique shops and more and is a great way to spend a day(or several) walking around and exploring!
Patinage en Foret (Skating in the forest) only a few minutes away!
Ottawa is located only 45 minutes away where you can take advantage of the historic downtown buildings, skate on the famous Rideau Canal and walk around the Byward market downtown which often has street entertainment, great restaurants and be sure to grab a Beavertail pastry!
Please note: Our hot tub and yard maintenance takes place every Wednesday.

• The exterior of the property is monitored by security camera(s) 24/7.
• Extra guests without prior approval are not permitted. No parties permitted.
• Life jackets are not provided. Please bring your own.
Pet access
Pets are allowed at this property but must be disclosed. Pets are not allowed on furniture, which includes beds.
• Price: $50 pet fee
• Costs associated with damages caused by pets will be pursued and not included in the pet fee
Additional guest fee:
Additional guest fee of $25 per guest per night applies after the 8th guest.
Important note regarding Cancellation Policy:
3.9% of the total amount paid is non-refundable regardless of when cancellation occurs.

• Our septic and well water systems, which are designed to support a specific number of guests
• Our insurance coverage, which only applies to registered guests
• Local by-laws and licensing conditions
🚨 Violations may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.
📹 Security & Monitoring
The entrance of the property is monitored 24/7 for safety and to ensure compliance with guest limits and house rules.
We respect our guest`s privacy so our cameras only monitor the circular laneway.
There are no cameras indoors, at the beach, or hot tub areas.

Hot tub maintenance takes place every Wednesday.
The lake has a gradual water entry with a sandy bottom — perfect for wading in.
