Nestled in the heart of Leelanau County with a front row seat to Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Leelanau High Five is the perfect central location for all the region has to offer! Just 5 minutes to gorgeous Good Harbor Beach, 12 minutes to iconic Fishtown in Leland, and 15 minutes to scenic Pyramid Point or Glen Arbor. A golferâs paradise â Sugar Loaf the Old Course is directly across the street, and the cart path to Arnold Palmerâs Manitou Passage is steps outside your front door. Golf 36 holes without needing to drive! Or simply enjoy a drink on Sugar Loafâs patio and watch the action on the 18th. The courtyard boasts a beautiful heated pool, picnic tables scattered about, and plenty of open space for activities. We live just a few minutes away and will be happy to help you get acquainted with the area!
This property is super clean, spacious and ideal for small groups or families. The kitchen is super well stocked and has everything you'd need to prepare meals or snacks. The beds are all comfortable including the sofa bed. The A/C is excellent given they are all window units. We enjoyed our stay and made it easily back and forth from the dunes, Glen Arbor and Traverse City. If you're having a tough time finding a place in either of those cities and several others, this is an ideal option!
We had a great stay at this townhome in Cedar, MI! The space was very clean and well-stocked with all the necessities of homeâincluding fresh towels, kitchen essentials, and even a grill for outdoor cooking. While open flames aren't allowed (so no sâmores, unfortunately), everything else was spot-on. The community pool is just a quick 2-minute walk away, and the location itself is idealâquiet, convenient, and close to everything we wanted to explore. Would definitely stay here again!
Check in process was simple and convenient. Condo was very clean. Bedrooms were good sized. Very nice location walkable to golf course and quick drive to many beaches and Glen Arbor.
The location was perfect for the 8 of us that stayed in the property . We loved that it had 3 full bathrooms. The property is in a quiet area with a pool. We visited several small towns nearby to shop and eat. Everything is about 20 minutes away.
Modest townhome, comfortable for up to 4 adults and 3 children, which is what we had. Quiet location and centrally located to explore the area. Sleeping Bear Dunes was close. Good Harbor beach (less than 5 minute drive) was great for playing and many built a fire on the beach while watching the sunset. Overall, the townhome met the needs of our trip. Check-in process was easy.
The sugarloaf condos are a great spot to stay in Leelenau County - easy access to Good Harbor bay, Glen Arbor and the dunes, but very quiet and not crowded. Pool and large green space are great to have for kiddos. Very steep stairs to get to loft space - not easy or safe for toddlers, but would be fine for adults or older children. Air conditioners throughout and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Check in process was a breeze and Sam was very easy to communicate with.
Great time had by all !!! We had my adult children and infant grandchild with us and everyone had a great time. This location in my opinion is perfect !!! We were no more than 20-30 minutes from just about everywhere we went (Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire, Traverse City, Sutton Bay, Bohemian Lavender Farm) I stalled baby gates made it baby friendly but didnât take away from the overall comfort. The property manager was super helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend this property đ
My 6 year old daughter said to her big brother: So- what do you say, best rental ever? We loved our time here at the old sugar loaf mountain chalet. It was right in the middle of the Leelanau, so about 20 minutes max from everywhere on the west and east side of the peninsula. Great hiking, biking, and good times. The condo was clean, communication was great, and we would like to come back. There were plenty of fun things built in for the kids to do around the house, and they of course enjoyed the multiple levels, looking down from their perch on the loft. There is a first level bedroom for those that donât do stairs, good for grandparents. Something for everyone here! Thank you for everything!
The propertyâs hilly location was beautiful and very convenient to Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the Leelanau Pennisula. The condo/townhome bathrooms and towels were clean. The main bedroom has an air conditioner wall unit. The lower level bedroom doesnât have air conditioning and the upper loft has a free standing air conditioner outside of the loft bedroom. It was rather warm for sleeping in the loft. Many fans were provided throughout the space. The kids loved the foosball table and the pool. The owner was great with communication and came the same day to fix something we noticed. Overall, it was a nice experience staying there.
