Pirate Amant est un endroit très confortable, abordable pour une famille de deux à quatre pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous ne fournissons pas de draps / serviettes et nous ne permettons pas d'animaux. Des améliorations ont été apportées à nouveau. Nous avons fait installer de nouvelles armoires de cuisine. Il dispose de deux chambres: une avec un lit queen size et l'autre a un lit double. Dans le salon, vous trouverez un canapé-lit qui peut accueillir deux autres membres de la famille. Nous louons aux couples et aux familles seulement et nous ne permettons pas à des animaux domestiques. Vous devez être âgé de 21 ans ou plus pour louer / séjourner chez Pirate Lover. De Pirate Amoureux de l'océan est à quatre minutes en voiture. Entre la maison et la plage, vous passerez devant un petit centre commercial, des restaurants, des épiceries et des glaciers. Pirate Amant a une cour qui est parfait pour les petits enfants. Il y a une balançoire, une table de pique-nique et une belle rue pour flâner et faire du vélo. La cuisine a un grand réfrigérateur, une cuisinière de taille et tous les pots, bols et plats pour faire de votre séjour un parfait. Pizza peut être livré à votre porte à partir de deux endroits différents. A la fin de la rue, vous pouvez voir les bateaux passent sur la voie navigable. La maison est propre et bien entretenu. Nous venons de mettre un nouveau surmatelas sur le lit et de nouveaux oreillers et matelas protecteurs. Pirate Amant est parfait pour les petites familles qui aiment la plage, mais aussi l'amour ayant un peu de temps calme, loin de tout. Pirate Lover a l'air central pour vous garder au frais après une chaude journée au soleil. C'est un lecteur rapide à la plage. Le trajet vous permet effectivement de faire des achats de dernière minute avant de traverser le pont vers l'île.

Peaceful Getaway

This home is in a quiet neighborhood which made for a peaceful stay. We were here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again.

Really glad you enjoyed your stay at Pirate Lover. We love the fact that lots of times, the only sounds you can hear from the house are birds and squirrels scampering through the trees, and the waves crashing onto the beach. Hope you can come back soon!

Pirate Lover, Awesome Stay

This property was a great find and very close to Holden Beach it beats staying in a cramped hotel room and it’s located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon

Quiet and Convenient Stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Pirate Lover, and it had everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable and complete. It's in a great location, on a quiet street, but only a couple miles from beautiful Holden Beach, and numerous shops and eateries. Thank you for having us Tony!

The location is quite nice. We do work during off season to keep upgrading Pirate Lover. Our goal is to make it comfortable and clean.

great vacation

We had a wonderful time on our vacation. We had everything we needed to to cook most of our meals as the kitchen was fully stocked. Quick easy drive to the beach made for a great stay. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your home.

Very Happy

Pirate Lovers was very nice and quite. We used it for a getaway for the week with no kids and it was just wonderful!!! Will definitely stay again and recommend this place!!

Thanks for your kind comments. As you pointed out, it's a quick trip (4 minutes!) to park alongside the ocean. We work hard at updating the house continually, to make it comfortable for our guests. Especially with the new sunroom, it's very spacious. Hope you are able to make it back soon!

Property clean and very nice, quiet neighborhood, just as described, communication w/owner was great. Adult and kid friendly, my granddaughter enjoyed it as we did also!!

Family friendly

This is a great property we stayed from June 20th on for a week home was well furnished with all items that we needed. This home is less than a 5 min drive to public beach access and is very close to great dining and shopping it is located on a very quite street great for kids to ride bikes or scooters and had plenty of included items that made our stay enjoyable. My family and I will definitely be returning for another stay best rates around and very lovely home.

Thanks for the nice review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Pirate Lover is perfect for couples with children. The street is paved but fortunately it is used very little and traffic is local and slow moving so it is ideal for children to ride their bikes. Hope to hear from you again real soon.

Relaxing Vacation!!

My husband and I just returned home from our week stay at Holden Beach. We were both so happy with our stay at Pirate Lover! We wanted to take a summer vacation, but needed to stick to a budget, and this was the perfect place! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and we were 5 minutes from the Ocean! The place was very nice and clean! I would have no problem staying in the Pirate Lover again, if we decide to return to Holden Beach!

LOVE the Pirate Lover

Our 4th year back, and plan to have many more! We really enjoy all of the new renovations being done. The hosts are gracious and lovely! What a deal!!

Cost effective

The property was as described and was a bit far out, but we realized that and was renting it with only cost in mind.

Our beach rental has satisfied hundreds of families over the years since 2005. It is clear that the house is close to waterway with view but a five minute drive to get to the beach. Pirate Lover has had improvements made yearly- everything you could need plus so many homey extras such as two swings- one on closed in porch and one out in the shade- toys, game machines with games, comfortable beds and seating inside and out - enough to have the feeling of home. We were disappointed to have a new griddle broken and left in the floor and holes dug throughout the yard. In staying there most of the summer ourselves we have found it to be cool and comfortable.

We did tell you we were in the middle of remodeling with paneling started as well as new laminate floors and other improvements. You made no contact at all. We have always had happy renters.

Perfect Little Family Getaway

We love coming to Holden Beach, specifically, we loved coming back for another year at the Pirate Lover. The property is super cute and is a perfect, no frills getaway for our small family. The neighborhood is very quiet. and family friendly for walking or bike riding. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive. Check in and out was a breeze. The kids enjoyed the videos the home owners provide. (Even the teen loved rewatching her childhood favorites, the Vegiie Tales.) We'll be making family memories here year after year for sure!

Holden Beach 2024

Great location! Nice neighbors! Comfortable and cozy. We were told we needed to bring our own linens and towels ahead of time. We underestimated the inconvenience of that, but for the price... Only feedback is that the TV streaming should be upgraded (old devices - lots of connection failures), but we were not there to watch TV. Hosts were responsive and the property was fabulous.

Glad to have you stay at Pirate Lover. We mostly use the antenna for the tv, it picks up 7 channels, there are also DVDs for the DVD player We used to do linens but stopped when Covid hit. Sorry. We hope that all our guests can appreciate the new improvements we make each year. This year alone we added the walk in shower, totally new walls in the entire house, new laminate floors everywhere but in the bedrooms as we prefer to keep them carpeted. We also built a new sunroom with 200 feet with a screened in porch with a swing. We also added a lot of roses and a stone walkway. We also added new mattresses, a new recliner, …. Beach rentals mostly don’t include linens without an extra charge so we decided to give that up. The streamer makes it possible for guests to sign in their own package which is what many of our guests do. I know you had a great stay. Hope to hear from you again.

Very Nice

My family and I had a great stay at Holden Beach. We can't wait to return. We found Porate Lover to be perfect for what ee needed. We booked it because of the price but now we would rent again cause we were so soooo comfortable. We sure made a goid memory. There's so much peace and quiet there. The bedding was as good as our own. We spent hours on the strand just enjoying the warm sunshine. The boys enjoyed riding their scooters on the nice,quiet street there,something they don't get to do at home. We could not have been happier.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Pirate Lover. The trailer felt spacious for 3 people (2 adults and my son who is 16). Everything you need is provided (minus towels and linen which is mentioned in the listing). Plenty of gaming systems (nice bonus!) and DVDs available for the kids. The front porch was our favorite place to sit and unwind. Pirate Lover is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood just minutes from the beach. We bought our lunch every day from Jersey Girl Deli, which is located within walking distance from the trailer. The trailer was clean and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Last Minute Family Vaca

We booked this stay super last minute. Wasn’t a lot of options and this was by far the cheapest and best access to the beach we could find. Super quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Fenced in yard was a plus for us with two young children. The screened in porch was nothing less than great. Inside the house was good, we had some issues with a musty/moldy smell as well as an issue with cockroaches both dead and alive. The home wasn’t really cleaned all that well either. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the ease of going to and from the beach and surrounding restaurants and grocery stores.

Glad you enjoyed the neighborhood, porch, and area. We have had many satisfied renters, this summer and in previous years, including numerous return guests- some returning four or more times. We did communicate with you about the issues you noted. The maid had been in the house for a cleaning, the day before you arrived. We do have a contract with a reputable pest control company. They come regularly, including for in-between "tune-ups" as needed. They came the day after you expressed your concern to us. Respectfully, I hope future renters will consider all of our reviews when making their decision. We are responsive, and we do provide a well-cared for home that we are confident will meet your vacation/ comfort needs!
