Tucked under the shade of trees and just one street over from the beach access, "Oaks and Waves" is the perfect place to call home during your stay on beautiful Oak Island.

Our coastal cutie is full of charm and character with modern conveniences waiting for you!
"Oaks and Waves" is located in the heart of Oak Island, less than one mile to dining and shopping, and just a quick walk to the beach access at SE 69th St.

Our two bedroom, 1 bath home will make your coastal dreams come true!

Relax on the inviting front porch with porch swing, enjoy a ride on our beach cruiser bikes or pack up the beach wagon and take a stroll to the nearby beach access. The newly fully fenced in backyard has plenty of space to relax. We can't wait to host you!

Cozy and cute!

We came down for a generational girls trip and we had a great time, loved the area we stayed in and could walk to the beach, restaurants were right down the road. It was decorated so beautifully , it wascomfortable and had everything we needed! Hopefully we will be back next year!

Wonderful Cottage!

This cozy cottage was so comfortable and convenient. We especially liked being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. Michael and Tina were very friendly and responsive.

Beautiful home

We had a great stay, enjoyed the home and location. Were out of TP and dishwasher soap, but replaced and left some extra TP. Would love to come back!

Beautiful sunrises

This house was everything it said it was a more. Very quiet location. Easy walk to the beach. We had a great time relaxing and reflecting. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything to make the house a home away from home.

perfect end to the summer

clean and well kept with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. distance to beach access was as described and a simple walk. dining options within walking distance as well. would absolutely return.

Perfect beach cottage for a family of four

It was a really cute cottage with everything we needed. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, and the location was very good, easy to get to restaurants and the grocery store and of course the beach :). We highly recommend!

This place was absolutely stunning, best couple to work with, they're very fast to reply and the house was fully stocked and very clean. We absolutely loved the back yard, beds and pillows. We will definitely stay again. The outdoor shower was an amazing touch.

Perfect place to stay on oak island

We came down for our mothers celebration of life, not the happiest reason for a beach trip but Michael made the reservation and check in process trouble free. The cottage is adorable, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area is super convenient to local restaurants and except for a good bit of tropical storm delays, we had a very nice stay. Michael was thoughful, compassionate and kind.

Super cute and good location!

The property had been beautifully renovated and very clean. About a 12-15 min walk to the beach, but definitely doable. It’s also close to the downtown, but make sure you make dinner reservations ahead of time if you go out. Nice, kid-friendly place and comfortable beds. Would recommend staying here anytime you’re in Oak Island!

We enjoyed staying at this cute house. It was perfect for our family. If I could give 10 stars for communication from the property owners I would. Great weekend at the beach

The house was very clean and spacious. Everything you would need for the beach was on the premises. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was a nice touch. The owners were very responsive as well. I would definitely book this again in the future

Great property and close to the beach! Extremely clean and brand new inside. Great beachy decor and finishes. The kids loved riding the bikes, and beautiful front porch with a swing. The owners were very friendly and responsive. Great beach vacation!

My New Favorite NC Beach!

I LOVE Oak Island! Especially all the beautiful trees and shade around Oaks & Waves The house is so lovely! Someone put a lot of thought into this beach house. Outdoor shower is awesome. Thank you for the kid’s toys, dishes, and bike buggy! Grandkids had a great time. Hope to stay at Oaks & Waves again next summer!

Great Little Place on Oak Island

We recently stayed with our 2 children (7 and 4). The space was cozy, well decorated, clean, and adequately stocked for what we needed. We loved how quiet the space was and the outdoor shower was an added bonus after those days at the beach! Communication with the owners was easy and quick and we felt very comfortable in the space and well taken care of. We would definitely rent this property again!
