WOW!!!!!What a beautiful home and a beautiful property! The pictures do not do the house justice. The beds were comfortable and house was very clean. We enjoyed walking on the beach and looking at the seals. We would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a great stay at this location! Close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but far enough away from the crowds. Everything was very clean and communication was great! 10/10 we would stay again!

Beautiful house with lots of room. We loved the big back deck. We watched the seals at low tide, enjoyed exploring the shoreline and amazing sunsets!

This was the perfect spot for our multi-generation vacation. Plenty of space for everyone and a very peaceful spot away from the bustle of nearby Bar Harbor. Communication with the host was top notch. The views were amazing. Walks along the coastline, combined with the bird and wildlife watching we were able to do from the back deck were highlights of our vacation. Acadia NP was just a short drive away and we visited it every day. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Trenton, Maine! The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had the most amazing waterfront views. We especially loved relaxing by the water and taking in the peaceful scenery and gorgeous sunsets.The entire process, from booking through our stay, was easy and seamless, and the host was very responsive whenever we had a question. We also really appreciated that the home was pet-friendly, which allowed us to enjoy our Maine getaway with our pups.We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway in Maine. We would love to stay here again!

This was perfect for our family of 10. (7adults, 3 children). Very clean, comfortable beds and the location was excellent. Quick trip to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Ellsworth and airport. We enjoyed walking and seeing all the ocean life along the beach. Paradise!!

The home was a perfect fit for our family of 5. We loved the peace and quiet and watching all the wildlife. We saw seals, eagles, deer and so much more. The sunsets are breathtaking and the kids enjoyed playing on the rocks and splashing in the water. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would happily stay here again!

My family and I visited Maine, and we rented this beautiful home in Trenton. This house was beautiful and clean and perfect for us. It was right on the water. The house was stocked with everything you needed. Wendy was awesome to work with and got back to me right away with any questions I had. If you are headed to Maine and need a place to stay, I highly recommend this place. I just wish we could have stayed longer; we didn't get to enjoy the house as much as wanted.

Pros: View of inlet, quiet surroundings, outdoor area was comfortableCons:Uncomfortable sofa beds, queen bed was more like a full, showers and bathtub have poor water pressure, small amount of cookware and serving dishes, over 30 minute drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor, slider door very noisy, downstairs bedroom- rug blocks door from opening completely which is a fire hazard, 2 bedrooms do not have dressers, soaking tub - not enough hot water to fill tub even halfway, asked to strip beds before leaving which is not our responsibility.

Thank you for your review. While I only manage this property and do not own it, I would like to address your concerns, as these negative comments are a first for this home, which consistently maintains a 10/10 rating. Regarding the bathtub, it does require a short wait for hot water, which is noted in the house manual. The owner is actually removing the tub because of this, but in the meantime, the home offers three other showers that most guests find perfectly sufficient. In terms of location, Bar Harbor is about 20 minutes away during the off-season, though traffic during peak tourist season can increase travel time. I do live here year-round and know how traffic can affect travel and know the town line of Bar Harbor is just about 20 minutes. I'll look into the pot, pan and plate amount but last time I looked which is often I keep enough for service for up to 14 people, this again is the first mention of this from any guests and there have been parties of more than yours. As for the rugs and the sliding door, my husband and I clean this home regularly and have not encountered these issues. The rugs are custom-fitted, top-quality pieces, and the sliding door is only two years old. However, I will inspect the door closely and apply WD-40 if needed. Additionally, while dresser space may vary by personal preference, each bedroom is equipped with a closet and hangers. Finally, regarding the request to strip the beds, this is a standard courtesy noted in the house manual to help cleaners turn over the home efficiently between bookings. While it is not mandatory, it is a helpful gesture that most of our guests are happy to provide. I wish you the best in your future travels. Best regards, Wendy Tasker

This was the perfect place to come “home” to after busy days exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house was noticeably clean, incredibly comfortable for our family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids), and had everything we needed (even made a campfire with s’mores). The host was wonderful to communicate with—responsive, helpful, and made everything about our stay easy.What made this place truly special, though, was how connected to nature we felt while staying here. We loved looking out the back windows and sitting on the back deck to watch the seals playing and the birds swimming under the water, and even a couple bald eagles flying right overhead. We walked on the beach every morning and night and it honestly became one of our favorite parts of the trip! The setting is so peaceful and beautiful and gave us the perfect place to slow down and enjoy Maine between all of our adventures. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! My 10 year old (impossible to please) daughter even said, “this is the best house in Maine!” 10/10 for sure!

Great stay

This was, by far, the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The location is perfect, my husband and I had the best time. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen is amazing! We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful location! The house itself is one of the nicest rentals we have had - no ikea furniture to cheaply furnish, it felt like we were visiting family. Hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend this home when visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor, it was much closer than a lot of the rentals we found and has a gorgeous view.

Great getaway

We had a great week here in Trenton. The house was very comfortable and clean. It had amazing views and sunsets at night. Great location for hiking in Acadia and quick trips to town for groceries.

Great location on cove

Great location right on quiet peaceful cove. Home was comfortable and had all we needed for a great vacation. Acadia and Bar Harbor are 20 minutes and easy to access from the home! Would recommend! Home owner was easy to communicate with and check in and out was easy. Thanks for a great stay!
