Great place to get away from it all. This comfy cottage is your best option for tranquility and relaxation. Located in Hatteras Village you are close to downtown and just a short walk to the sound. Great proximity to local restaurants and stores not to mention the ferry. Take a side trip to Ocracoke. Oh, and wait... short drive to Ramp 55, one of the best ocean beaches around, just a few minutes away. When you get back from the beach pop into the outdoor shower and rinse off in the open air. When your ready to wind down, it'll be time for cocktails on the deck. Sound good? Come on down.

Super comfy cottage for our getaway. Host was very accommodating when we had to delay our trip due to a medical emergency. Perfect location for us. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard and hearing the rooster in the morning! Would stay there again.

Relaxing getaway!

Great location in a quiet spot on the back of the island. We had a great time exploring the historical spots around the island and taking some time to go fishing.

Perfect Place Perfect Price

The home was cute and cozy. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen. The living room furnature and beds were very comfortable. Very nice 2nd floor deck. Everything was well taken care of. The price was very affordable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cozy cottage is the best way to describe this place. Upon arrival, the communication was excellent. We were greeted with the cutest little welcome card and gift, and on the table there was a binder that provided you with knowledge of the cottage, stores, activities, and locations… This was perfect as we referred to it many times. Just being in Cape Hatteras was so relaxing. You couldn’t get enough of the beaches during the day, the kitchen had everything you needed. We enjoyed going to Sonny‘s restaurant for breakfast. We cook dinner about every night and then enjoyed the deck with the beautiful fresh air and refreshments. It is a perfect getaway ! Without a doubt I absolutely will return and stay at the Cozy Cottage . A warm thank you for a lovely stay that was much needed .The Cinaglia Family

Amazing Memories

This place was perfect! Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the beach, the sound, well stocked grocery. Short drive (5 minutes) to the Ferry and many interesting shops and great restaurants. My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The property was 100% as advertised, clean, well maintained, very comfortable. The host, Andy was EXCEPTIONAL. I recommend a ferry trip to Ocracoke Island and a horse ride through the forest and along the beach courtesy of "Equine Adventures", and of course, the beautiful beaches. If you looking to get away for a few days - this is the place.

We had such a great stay at this house. it was the perfect cozy home base for our family of four. After long days packed with driving on nearby ORV beaches and meeting up with friends nearby to soak up every minute by the ocean or in the sound, it was such a treat to come back to a cozy, comfortable living room where we could all unwind together. The outdoor shower was a highlight for us—refreshing, private, and perfect after a sandy beach day.Check-in was super easy and the host made everything seamless from start to finish. The kitchen was well stocked—not only did it have everything we needed for family meals throughout the week, but it also made cooking up the fish and clams we caught a real pleasure (BYO clam knife). There were plenty of dishes, cups, and utensils for our family, which made settling in and eating together effortless.On top of all that, communication with the owner was excellent—responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We left feeling like we had discovered a great spot, and we would absolutely stay again.

Great little getaway

I really enjoyed my stay in Hatteras. The cottage is very comfortable. The neighbors spotlights on all night was a bit intrusive when I wanted to sit outside at night. I also could not find anywhere in the listing that towels and linens would not be included - it is something I look for in OBX because it's not the first time. I wasn't entirely surprised and partially prepared but regardless, it was not stated clearly, anywhere, including the fine print. I was genuinely baffled. Either way, the house is gorgeous and the fly swatter was a life saver. I would definitely stay again. Always love visiting OBX

We come from Long Island where people would tell you we're crazy for having place on Outer Banks as there are a lot of similarities to where we are. But we love the Outer Banks and Hatteras. We get there whenever we can. It is always worth the drive.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Neighborhood is nice quiet not overly touristy area. Can walk over to the water or just stroll downtown. A nice slow pace that works well for us when we want to just kick back.

Our property is unique is that it is small but cozy. We can always feel our stresses and troubles melting away as soon as we get there. A great place to recharge.
