Bienvenue dans notre "Boathouse" confortable dans la belle ville de Truro. Situé dans le National Seashore, nous nous asseyons sur le port de Pamet et avons une jetée privée où vous pouvez attacher un bateau. Profitez de la plage, du kayak, du canoë et du feu de camp lors de votre visite. Admirez les magnifiques couchers de soleil et bateaux de pêche tout en mangeant à votre table personnelle au bord de l'eau. Apportez votre appareil photo !!! Les couchers de soleil sont spectaculaires.

Notre maison de 400 pieds carrés était à l'origine une école de voile! Converti en une maison entièrement fonctionnelle, il est rempli de toutes les commodités que vous pourriez souhaiter. Savourez des repas avec vue sur le port, passez des jours à explorer la rivière et ses criques, paresser sur la plage ou lire sur les chaises longues. Et aucune maison de plage n'est complète sans une douche extérieure! La maison peut accueillir 4 personnes. Le loft a 2 matelas jumeaux qui peuvent être arrangés comme bon vous semble, l'entraîneur a un canapé-lit gigogne. Appareils pleine grandeur. Wi-Fi et télévision par câble. Pas de lessive.

What a magical location. We saw so many birds and seals from the back deck! Sunsets were glorious. Loved kayaking around the area. It is a very small space but we knew that and were fine with it!

Our second time staying here and we loved it. Such a special place. Relax on the deck and watch the sunset. Bring your binoculars for the birds. In warm weather kayak or canoe to the peninsula and bring a picnic lunch. Dog friendly and great for a couple. Blackfish restaurant is only minutes away and delicious! We love this place. We will be back (again)!

Perfect secluded getaway

This little private gem of a place on the bayside was the perfect spot to enjoy cape cod for the first time. The town of Truro was so welcoming and also so close to everything. We didn’t receive any check in instructions prior to arrival and the kayak did have a hole that took on water making it non usable. Also the outdoor shower had no hot water; only cold as the knob seems to just loosely rotate but the inside shower was great for us. Kitchen was stocked with lots of utensils and plenty of furniture for use outside! Tiny house with plenty of room and warming charming atmosphere!

Perfect tranquil waterside cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 4 night stay in this perfectly located cottage. The cottage was very clean inside and is very well equipped with everything you need, we took our own bedding. We cycled, kayaked and swam every day. The sunsets every evening are spectacular. The outside area around the cottage could do with a clean up.

Awesome location

Cottage was right on the water and had everything we needed minus the sheets/towels/shampoo. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the end of October. Only thing is one of the entry sliders takes some extra effort to open and close.

Fun beach shack getaway to old cape cod

We enjoyed our stay. The listing says sleeps 4 so absolutely zero privacy. I would stay again but just with my wife. Also, the kitchen was a bit grimy and could use a deep cleaning. The charm is a great view of the harbor with amazing sunsets.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at the tiny boat house. The great views of the harbor and sunsets were amazon. We spent mornings canoeing to little beaches in the harbor we had all to ourselves and afternoons catching crabs with the kids next to the dock. There is a ton to do within 10-15 minutes away. We hiked through the sand dune shacks, went to Truro vineyards and went to the lighthouse in the National seashore. The hosts were accommodating and promt answering our questions and helped make our young family enjoy our vacation.

Lovely location

Very quiet and lovely location. Cottage is nice. Loft is sooo very tight for sleeping and the pull out couch is as comfortable as most (not). Overall nice place. Wish the owners actually provided check in instructions....never had that happen before.

Great place to stay

This lovely slice of heaven was exactly what we expected. After reading previous reviews I made sure to read the entire description of the property so my husband and I knew exactly what to expect (we brought linens, towels, flashlight). My only piece of feedback is that the walkway to the cottage is very dangerous- old broken pallets and not a lot of lighting for such a precarious walkway.

Glorious stay!! Best location…

The boathouse is absolutely adorable. The pictures online Do not do it justice as it has all been redone. We brought a lot of items that ended up not being necessary as every little thing you could need- pots, and pans, silverware dishes - is provided. The most remarkable part of this stay was the location hands-down. Not only does the boathouse sit directly on a private beach but it is in a lovely harbor and a quick canoe or kayak ride over to beaches. We definitely plan to return next year to this most amazing spot!!

Breathtaking location!

I loved staying at this wonderful, tiny boathouse in Pamet Harbor. Everything about the process was wonderful - Barb the owner was very, very kind and helpful and gave me suggestions and advice about the stay that was really thoughtful, and the place was clean as a whistle when I arrived. The furnishings and decor are very tasteful and it essentially has everything you could possibly need and it comes with access to kayaks which turned out to the best part of our vacation at this house. The kayaking was just outstanding in the harbor area and the river and out into the bay and up and down the coast - it is just amazing. I intend to stay here again if I'm able to secure any dates for rental next summer. THANK YOU BARB!

Beautiful location, lovely stay!

We loved our 4-day stay here over labor day weekend. The cottage has been redone since the photos were taken. Very comfy little beach house with deck and dock out the front door with a panoramic view that doesn't quit. The sunsets were stunning. Launch the canoe or kayak right in front of the house and paddle out to the beach on the peninsula just across the harbor from the house with a picnic for the day (we deemed that day a "perfect day", just perfect). Check-in/out was easy, as was the communication with the hosts. The classic teak furniture on the deck was perfect for dining al fresco. The chaise and the rocking chair were ideal for getting some sun and/or relaxing in the salty breeze. Bring your binoculars to enjoy the active life of the various sea birds, geese, and other birds that make the harbor their summer home. A very calming place. We will be back for sure!

Mouse dropping, ancient pull-out sofa, charge for sheets/towels, no bedroom, no wifi, no kayak, etc

Barb, the owner, has an excuse for everything but: there is no master bedroom or any bedroom as described. This is a studio with loft. Try as you might, you will not be able to sleep on the pull-out sofa bed that will be unmade when you arrive. It's that uncomfortable. (The mattresses--not beds--in the loft will also need to be made if you choose to use them. Note you will be hunched over under the low ceiling in the cramped area as you try to do so.) You, like we, may find mouse droppings. Hopefully she will have curtains installed for some privacy, otherwise you will be trying to sleep in that pull-out sofa about a foot away from a big picture window that anyone can peer through. She will charge you $$$ to wash flimsy, 100% polyester sheets if you use them (in addition to the $$$ cleaning fee). Bring your own body soap and shampoo because there won’t be any. Hopefully the TV and internet will work for you (they did not for us). And hopefully you’ll have access that we didn’t to the promised kayaks and canoe. We spent one night there then changed our flights to leave asap. Instead of three nights there, we spent one and, with VRBO fees and her charges and fees (with no discount whatsoever for such an unpleasant time without promised amenities), we spent $$$$$ for the experience. This has been my only (very) unpleasant experience with VRBO. Beware.

This is a newly renovated house..new kitchen..new floors ..new walls...it was professionally cleaned and ready for her.. She set off the septic alarm when circuit breaker was shut off.. She never ordered sheets and towels..I guess people can't read and are quick to throw blame.. She didn't like the sleeper..yet said she didnt want to sleep in loft..Oh well...she is one who wants her cake..after she eats it. Our caretaker was there in minutes to put circuit breaker back on..There are 2 kayaks and a canoe behind house..As a matter of fact, people just left and enjoyed the watercraft..There is xfinity wifi and cable...We had it installed as soon as it came into town..30 years ago..I would NEVER rent to her..RUN FROM HER...
