Votre maison de vacances est située sur 2 terrains en pente douce avec plus de 220 pieds de front de mer relaxant. Avec 4 chambres et 3 ½ salles de bain, votre famille et vos amis auront beaucoup d'espace pour se détendre et se relaxer. Il y a des jeux et des jouets pour les enfants, des livres, des téléviseurs grand écran avec DirecTV et WiFi gratuit. La grande cuisine a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer des repas familiaux mémorables. Il y a aussi un barbecue à gaz à 6 brûleurs pour ce grand barbecue. Vous pouvez profiter de la grande terrasse couverte et enveloppante avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. Au bord du lac, il y a un grand foyer pour des soirées amusantes ensemble. Le grand quai privé abritera confortablement vos bateaux avec un excellent endroit pour nager, se détendre ou faire un peu de pêche. Amazing lake house to stay in and relaxing.

Great get away and great dock. But could use more comfortable beds and more firm pillows less soft other than that bed rooms and baths are great.

We took our family vacation down to the lake this year and it was perfect. The kids enjoyed the water. We had plenty of room for our family and the back porch is where we stayed.

Long Family Weekend

Great house and lake location. Brien was great checking in. No problems at all. Sauna was a big plus. Oh and caught some nice catfish off the dock. Will definitely stay again.

Great location to relax and keep busy!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wiggins' Family home! The view of the lake was wonderful and the dock was perfect for our family. The children had plenty to do outside (loved the lake and the swing) and all of the comforts of inside when all were exhausted for the day. The outside fire pit was perfect for smores and making memories with our family. We hope to come back to enjoy more of this home and the lake!

Spacious home in great location on Wedoweee

This property very clean in a great location on the lake. Very spacious. We had a hiccup when we first arrived with a water main leak and had no water the first night but the property manager was very attentive and made sure we had water for showers and food that night and the next morning the plumbers showed up and took care of the problem. Definitely would rent this property again for a family get a way.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a fabulous time on our weekend getaway, we wished we could've stayed longer. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The view was amazing, and the dock was perfect for bringing our boat and jet ski. The public boat ramp was within walking distance, which made for easy access. Kathy is very pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely visit again. Thanks!

Perfect Lakehouse for 8+ people!

The house was larger than expected with PLENTY of room for 8-10 people inside and outside. We never felt cramped nor inadequately spaced even for bathroom needs for such a group size. The dock and lake access couldn't have been better. Really cannot say enough positive things about this listing. Description and photos in listing were exactly as advertised. Price was very reasonable for accomodations.

Thanksgiving 2021

We had a great time at the rental. The house set on a hill up from Lake Wedowee in which it was an easy access to walk to and fish or set on the dock and enjoy the view. The house itse'f was big enough to accomodate our famly. The location is a drive from the small town, walmart was 20 miles away. I would like to stay in the summertime to get to enjoy the lake more.

Mini Vacay

What a great place to spend time with the family. The house was perfect. Nice and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 8. Everything we needed was right where it should be and easy to find. Great location on the water. Kids really enjoyed jumping from the dock and swimming around in the quiet cove area. We brought our pontoon so having a good dock really came in handy. Morning and evening rides on the lake were just beautiful. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully next summer.

Beautiful spot on Lake Wedowee

Plenty of room and a beautiful location on Lake Wedowee. My family of 5 enjoyed bringing our waverunners and my family's pontoon boat. There is plenty of room to have guests join you for day trips or overnight! This is really a home more than a rental space. Nice to have everything we needed although it would be helpful to have an empty shelf for our food/supplies and an empty closet on the main floor. The owner is very helpful and quick to answer any questions. There is also a caretaker across the street that will help you check in and see to anything that is needed during your stay. Don't hesitate to stay here and you won't be disappointed in the clean, quiet lake either!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! That is a good idea and I will organize my cupboards to leave more empty space. For clothes, there is an empty armoire in the master bedroom on the main floor and a closets in each of the upstairs bedrooms. I will look into finding some more space. Second Family Vacation

We are a family of 9 - three generations - ages 7 to 73. This home was ideal. It's large, with bedrooms on all three floors (first, second and terrace level). The living room and kitchen were plenty big for the whole family and the back porch/deck - which is the full width of the house - faces the lake and was perfect for us to spend so much outdoor time on. The views of the lake are awesome, and the dock and floating dock made it fun to just sit out or swim. Even found time to light the fire pit and make s'mores this year. We found this gem last summer, and after spending time there last year decided it was the place for our family vacation again. And we'll most likely be going back again next year. Thank you Chez Wiig for a fabulous family vacation!

Beautiful location

House and view were pretty awesome. Lots of good to say about the house and location. Our complaints would be simple, felt like the picture of the hot tub was misleading, since it didn't say it didn't work. And upon arrival, we found out that it didn't. The outside furniture under the patio, on the lower half, was very dirty and not very usable. In no way am I bashing the house, it was a wonderful stay and location. We would even stay there again. The positives are so many to list, so I figured I would just cover the low spots, which wasn't a lot.

Great week at the lake!

My husband and I, our adult children, and their families, all met up for a week at the lake. (Ages 7 to 72.) This house is perfect for multiple families with bedrooms on three levels - main, terrace and second floor. The rooms were all spacious, the kitchen well appointed - even having a Keurig which we greatly appreciated being we’re all big coffee drinkers, the two level back porch was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake! The dock was fun to lay out and swim, and the location perfect if you want to rent a boat. Wide and deep part of the lake. Brian, the Property Manager, was very personable, close by if we needed anything and very knowledgeable of the area. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Kathy and Brian.

Great Home With Wonderful, Relaxing Views!!

This vacation rental met our expectations in every way!! First, the setting.....the view of Lake Wedowee was breathtaking, and a welcome sight every morning. Most of the house on the lake-facing side is windows, and you can't miss it!! With the leaves turning, and the sun shining, it was like the lake was ablaze with color!! The house is located on a dead-end street, so definitely quiet, no traffic! The house was in excellent condition. The downstairs walkout suite was really cool! The kitchen was very functional, and as usual, our family of 7 spent most of our time in there cooking, drinking and laughing! The lake was very low, possibly historically low, so if bringing a boat, you would probably want to check the lake level for boat access to the floating dock on the property. The property coordinator met us personally on our arrival to show us everything we needed to know. The owner was fantastic, and when we had trouble with anything (and there wasn't much), she responded super quickly and in a gracious, customer-focused manner. We would definitely recommend the property, and plan on renting again in the future!!

FYI - the water level is brought down in the winter months and rises again in the Spring. Spring Break

Long weekend with family. Included grandchildren. They enjoyed fishing and all the amenities. House was great! Brian, the local property manager was great to work with. We plan on booking again. Only regret was forgetting to sign the guest book before leaving.

We chose Lake Wedowee because of it's beautiful lake and easy access to ATL and BHM airports. We chose this particular house because:
- It is on a very large lot, (two adjacent lots);
- There is deep water year round;
- It has a gently sloping lot, (no steps to water);
- Walking distance to public boat ramp
- Privacy (it's on a peninsula);
- Great for raising kids;
- It's located on the main lake with panoramic view of the lake;
- It is midway between Atlanta and Birmingham (approx. 80 miles to both);
- Only 45 miles to Talladega;
- 30 miles to Oxford, AL.
