The location and river view were gorgeous. The train tracks behind the cabin are something to consider. The train ran many times throughout the night and was very loud. The interior was clean but kitchen was barely stocked with cooking pots and pans. The exterior was very dirtyâŠ.deck, tables, grills, cement pad was strewn with dirt, leaves miscellaneous items.
Great little spot to relax with a beautiful river right there. Space on the small side but perfect for our needs. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Smart tv and WiFi calling worked great. There is a train route nearby but we actually enjoyed hearing the sound of it going by. We highly recommend!
This house was so cute and we loved staying here. The water was so beautiful just like the photos. The train is something to consider, I slept right through all of it but my husband didnât. But it was so great we still would go back or recommend it.
We stayed at this cute lil cabin for a family reunion in the area. Didnt get to spend much time there but coffee on the porch looking at the river was so peaceful. My only complain is the drive way to the cabin. Low limbs rubbing on my new truck and very narrow drive. The RR tracks are a lil scary, best to see it in the daylight first. But we will be back again.
I got a little turned around trying to find the correct road but once I did, it was all good from there! The cabin and the area are just like the photos! It was the perfect spot for a long weekend away. There were clean towels and even some condiments in the fridge. The cabin stayed nice and warm on the cold nights and the night sky was breath taking! I spent an entire day outside, enjoying the sound of the river and swinging on the porch swing. It's actually pretty close to Cheaha State Park so on my second day I drove over there to explore and I would highly recommend it! Lots of beautiful and easy hikes, and the highest point in Alabama!
Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a beautiful getaway!
