Enjoy your Sarasota stay in this newly furnished waterfront corner unit on the 4th floor of The Strand, heated communal pool & gym, a kayak launch, a dog run, 2x barbeques, elevator access and secure community entry.
It offers 1359 sq. ft. + 149 sq. ft. of terrace, with a beautiful view of the Whitaker Bayou and the beautiful park of the Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy!

We have taken great care to ensure that you have everything you need to feel at home during your stay.

★Living Area:
The living area is down the hallway and has a comfortable couch, seating up to 4 guests, an ottoman that serves as a coffee table and a smart Tv for streaming (with your own login credentials), with direct access to the sliding doors leading to the balcony. There are remote-controlled blinds for your convenience.

★Kitchen:
The kitchen features brand new appliances such as a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & disposal, toaster, kettle, Nutri bullet blender, drip-down coffee machine and a Keurig machine.
It has four bar stools to enjoy the breakfast bar.
A new sponge, dish soap, trash bags and dishwashing detergent to get you started are included.

★Dining:
The dining table can comfortably seat 6 guests.
There is an additional high-top table that seats 2.
The breakfast bar seats 4.

★Master bedroom:
Located on the right-hand side upon entering the condo, it includes a King-sized bed, a smart-tv, a walk-in closet, a dresser, laundry hamper, two nightstands with lighting and remote-controlled blinds as well as access to the en-suite bathroom. Bedding & linens are included.

★Guest bedroom:
The guest bedroom features a Queen-sized bed, a built-in closet and a dresser, two night stands with lighting, a large floor mirror, laundry hamper and private balcony. Bedding & linens are included.

★Bathrooms:
The master bath is connected to the bedroom. It features a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
The guest bathroom is between both bedrooms and features a bathtub with sink and toilet.
Towels, a blow dryer and essential soap products are included.

★Balconies:
The main balcony can be accessed through the large sliding doors in the living room and features two separate seating areas: 2x single seaters with a large coffee table and a 2 person couch with a smaller coffee table. It is the perfect location to enjoy the sunsets.
The second balcony can be accessed via the guest bedroom.

★Laundry:
The washing and dryer machines are located in the laundry room between both bedrooms.
Basic detergents are supplied to start you off.

★Parking:
You have one reserved spot inside the parking garage.
Plenty of uncovered guest parking available on a first-come first-serve basis.

★Community amenities:
Communal pool & Gym, please note that pool temperature may vary depending on outdoor conditions, and during colder weather, it may not always reach the desired setting. The pool is heated seasonally in accordance with Homeowners Association guidelines. Guests are kindly asked to follow all HOA pool rules, including posted hours of operation.

★Important Notes & Rules:
An HOA application and approval are required. The $150 application fee is included in the booking fee. (The fee amount is subject to change).

Small pets may be accepted with prior approval and $150 pet fee.
AC cannot be lower than 70 F and heat cannot be higher than 77 F.
Don't leave doors/windows open when AC/Heat is running
Use pool and hot tub at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty.
Residence is located on the canal without a fence. Supervise children at all times.
If you require elevator assistance: Elevators may be temporarily disabled during severe weather. In such instances, stairwells are available in the building.

★Add-on:
Traveling with a little one? We offer a Pack 'n Play for use during your stay for a one-time fee of $50. This includes clean, fitted sheets for your convenience. Just let us know in advance if you'd like to add this to your booking!

This was our second stay in this unit - it is great! It's very clean and it has everything you need for your stay. Property manager is very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again

The Strand. Is perfect.

This place has incredible balcony views of the harbor and plenty of excellent home accessories, so it has it all when you go to the beach or cook a meal. Very clean.

We stayed at this property recently and found the location and overall complex to be excellent. The unit itself has great potential, and we initially expected to return in the future. Unfortunately, several serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and management response made that unlikely.Cleanliness was a major concern. The floors and windows appeared not to have been properly cleaned—after crawling around, our baby’s hands, knees, and feet were visibly dirty. When I wiped up a small amount of water on the bathroom floor with a white towel, it came away extremely dirty. We also found used sheets from a previous guest left in a hamper, which was unacceptable.There were also multiple maintenance issues. The TV in the master bedroom did not work, which was disappointing as this was something we specifically expected when booking. We reported it, but no resolution was provided beyond saying the owner had been contacted. Additionally, the master bedroom shades were not functioning, a kitchen outlet didn’t work, and another outlet had a loose or missing cover—posing a safety concern, especially with a young child.Most concerning, our five-year-old found marijuana on the balcony. This is completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about safety and oversight.Overall, while the property itself is in a great location, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and meaningful response from management made this a disappointing stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We were disappointed to read your comments, as the property is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to each guest’s arrival. Cleanliness and guest comfort are extremely important to us, and we take all concerns seriously. We do wish these issues had been brought to our attention sooner, as they were only reported four days after your arrival. Once notified, we immediately offered to come to the property to address and resolve the concerns; however, we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to do so. We always strive to make things right for our guests whenever an issue is reported during their stay. Regarding the TV and blinds remote, the TV was replaced following your departure, and the blinds remote was confirmed to be in proper working order. We also understand your concern regarding the marijuana found on the balcony. The balcony was thoroughly inspected prior to your arrival, and nothing was found at that time. While we cannot confirm how it got there, it may have come from a neighboring unit above. We have since informed the HOA, as this is unacceptable. Please know this was never intentionally left on the property. We take pride in providing accurate listings, responsive communication, and positive guest experiences. We appreciate all feedback and will continue working hard to provide excellent stays for future guests.

Great stay

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean with a nice kitchen and accessories. The pool and work out space are accessible and not overly busy. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. We would definitely return to this property.

Beautiful modern unit

Phenomenal condo with every modern amenity. Great pool and sitting area. Full fitness center. Indoor parking. Dog park. Our unit overlooked the bayou where we saw manatees and birdlife. Full time residents were very nice.Not much that you could walk to, but downtown was only a mile south and Publix was about 3/4 mile away.

Close to Downtown

We enjoyed our stay at The Strand. It was close to downtown and the beaches. There were a lot of extra touches in the condo (beach/pool towels, beach chairs, etc.) that we appreciated. The unit was very clean and stylish. The only downside was the modern furniture, while super cute, wasn't overly comfortable (mostly the bed). But we did enjoy everything else. We would recommend to other guests.
