Relax with your family or friends at this peaceful home away from home. Sip coffee or enjoy a drink on the covered porch overlooking the lake. Located inside Mid Lake Campground, which is centrally located mid-lake on Toledo Bend Lake with easy access to world class fishing anywhere on the lake. Free boat ramp access. Take in the stunning sunrises and sunsets with your lakefront view surrounded by Sabine National Forest and amazing views
Room 1 - King bed with Nectar Premium mattress and ensuite bath with garden bathtub and shower
Room 2 - Queen bed with Nectar Premium mattress; shared bath with shower/tub combo
Room 3 - bunk bed (Twin over Double) - sleeps 3 with shared bath
Rooms 2 & 3 share a full bath with tub/shower combo

Living room has 65" 4K Smart TV.

There is a 12' x 33' covered deck with seating for 8, outdoor dining table for 6, gas grill (propane provided). The concrete patio has an outdoor Firepit with 7 Adirondak chairs on the bluff overlooking the lake. There is parking for 2 cars a boat and there is additional space in the grass across from the house.
The house sits up on the bluff, currently with limited access to the water right by the house. You can get down to the water, but we have not completed the renovations to the water and dock access. We are in the process of adding stairs down to the private dock which should be available in FALL 2024.
Guests have full access to the boat ramp, swimming platform located near the boat slips (this is not a private dock; it is for all guests in the campground), fish cleaning station, kayaks (reserve at the store) and waterfront pavilion.
Uncovered boat slips are available to rent. Message host for availability.
The campground store hours vary by season and sell beer, bait, ice, grocery items, gas (including non-ethanol), ice, firewood, picnic items, and much more.
If you need any help or have questions during your stay, please call. We have staff available to answer any questions as we do not live on site. The manager's phone number will be provided in the digital guest book you receive after booking and it is listed in the guest book provided on the kitchen counter. Our staff is on hand to help in any way!
Our boat ramp is only short boat ride to Cypress Cove (bass tournament headquarters), Pendleton bridge, and the Gator Hole.
Mid Lake Campground and Eagle's Cove are perfectly situated for a great fishing trip, a day on the lake, or total relaxation taking the amazing lake views in the clean country air. You can catch your limit of Crappie right under our boathouse, or visit the famous gator hole only 2 miles away by boat where you just might catch a trophy bass. We are 3 miles to the main lake by boat, and 6 miles to Cypress Bend. Sam Rayburn Lake is about 30 miles by car.
Eagle's Cove is located inside Mid Lake Campground, which was built in 1968 with the creation of Toledo Bend Lake. Mid Lake Campground has pull through RV spaces, cabins, and houses. Many of our guests have long term "camps" in the campground; some reside in the campground year-round, while others are winter snowbirds. We have an onsite boat house (call for reservation), boat ramp, and convenience store with gas (including non-ethanol gas). The campground is very quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors.
1. No smoking or vaping inside or on the deck.
2. Community Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. This is both a community and a campground, so please be considerate of your neighbors.
3.4. Please do not turn the AC lower than 72 degrees, as it will freeze the unit. Please call if you have any issues. Please make use of the ceiling fans in the living areas and bedrooms to help during summer months.
4. If you use the grill, which I hope you do, please make sure to turn off the propane and wipe down the grill while it is hot, so it is ready for the next guest. There are grill tools and cleaning brush under the grill.
5. Please note all garbage must be in garbage bags. Please do not throw loose trash into the can. We have guys that manually pick up the trash, so everything must be bagged. Pick up for garbage is curbside Monday and Thursday mornings. If you have additional bags that do not fit in the trash cans, please throw in the trash bin behind the store.
6. Please keep pets off the furniture and crated (if possible) when you are out of the house.
7. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors. Please do not leave pets unattended outside at any time. Excessive barking or unruly behavior could result in being asked to leave without refund.
8. Please pick up pet waste and discard in garbage.
9. Most importantly, have a great time!
I give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to verify my identity and check criminal databases to confirm my reservation (VRBO and Website bookings only). Complete terms regarding the guest verification can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions.
