This renovated and fully furnished lake home is just steps from the shore of Lake Melissa. Bright, airy, welcoming, and comfortable, it includes everything you need for a fabulous getaway this summer! Enjoy a level lake lot (with no stairs), a private dock and boat lift, lake toys, a lakeside patio, a gas grill, a gas fire pit, a paddle boat, a kayak, Wi-Fi, a 46" Smart TV, a SONOS sound system, and plenty of games and books. The home also features a washer, dryer, microwave, and dishwasher.

**THE SPACE**:
The home's open floor plan showcases natural light and 180º lake views! The newly remodeled kitchen features stainless steel appliances, while the bathroom includes a clawfoot bathtub. The sunroom offers a bar and a cozy lounging area.

This home sleeps 8 people comfortably (6 adults and 2 kids), and it includes one bedroom with a king bed, one bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with bunk beds (a twin bed over a full bed with a pull-out trundle bed). Please note that the rates are based on 6 guests.

**THE NEIGHBORHOOD**:
We are located on the southeast side of Lake Melissa, benefiting from generous sunshine and gorgeous sunset views! Lake Melissa spans 1,850 acres of crystal-clear waters, offering excellent fishing opportunities—specifically for walleye, northern, and panfish. It's perfect for both motorized watercraft (boats and jet skis) as well as non-motorized options (paddleboards, kayaks, and paddle boats). Although we're on a beach road, we're just off a county road, ensuring a quiet area that's still easily accessible. While the area and lake offer plenty of excitement, the lake house and surrounding properties maintain a peaceful atmosphere. It's the best of both worlds!

The lake home is situated in the vibrant Detroit Lakes area, which features boutique shopping, upscale and casual dining, and bars. If you enjoy the outdoors, Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, Itasca and Maplewood State Parks, and Dunton Locks County Park are all within a short drive. Local attractions include WeFest, Pine to Palm, Seven Sisters, and Hotel Shoreham Bistro, Bar & Pizzeria, all just down the road.
