This was the perfect place for our family vacation. Our family of nine stayed here very comfortably. The space is amazing- so quintessentially Maine! We felt so lucky to be able to stay in this family home and feel its magic. Michelle was attentive and easy to communicate with. Itâs super close to the beach, which was pretty much private. Our dog was able to be off leash and with us the whole time, and people there seem comfortable with off leash friendly dogs.
Large house with plenty of space for everyone. Beautiful views from gorgeous living room. Quick walk to several beaches - amazing walks at low tide and beautiful sunsets. Several great restaurants within 10 minute drive. Very remote and quiet area if you want to get away from it all. Just be mindful of the horsefly season and bring bug spray - they were bad when we visited. Michelle was easy to work with and answered our questions promptly.
The property was fine with cozy rooms with plenty of room to sprawl out three separate families. 2-3 steps to enter the 3 entries. Musty odor coming from cellar and front bedroom. Easy access to 2 different beaches within walking distrance. It is a bit remote with narrow road, but only had to back a couple of times - not much traffic due to private community. Need better garbage disposal area, since animals get into trash cans at night. It might have been nice to have a microwave to heat up leftovers. Didn't miss having a TV. Unfortunately, my dog had an medical emergency, which the veterinary hospital is an hour away . Nice outdoor shower for kids wash off sand. Neighborhood is quiet, so easy to sleep at night. Nice view of ocean from side porch. There are a few restaurant options nearby, most are in Bath. I would stay again if in the area.
