We had a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. This gated community has a lot to offer: beach, pool, and racquet courts. Great location and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
We had a great time at this condo in Marco. It had all the beach chairs and buggy. It was a great trip with family and friends that were staying in other condos.
We loved the grounds condo was located. However, condo was VERY dated! Kitchen counters were stained, utensils were worn, furniture was stained and worn out. Counter top in one bathroom was taped down, as well as light fixture. Some outlets were taped over (as do not use, why?) would recommend this complex BUT NOT this condo!
Kitchen was not well equipped and dishwasher did not clean the dishes. The condo was nice and very comfortable. We would have enjoyed our stay more if it hadnât been for the nasty pool attendant and the guests who thought every chair belonged to the regular gang even to the point of removing our towels when we were in the pool so their friends could sit with them. No asking just decided we should not be there.
We loved Marco Island and the condo itself was fabulous. I do however have one major complaint. The âpool policeâ were so incredibly rude, every single day. We were informed by the female staff member that us going to our condo/resort like the one we stayed at was a âprivilegeâ and it doesnât matter how much money we spent. It doesnât matter that we spent our hard earned money to vacation there. The pool was meant for residents and not for âfun.â
Kid you not...words straight out of her mouth. I was constantly full of anxiety every time we went to the pool because I felt like our children were going to be spoken to rudely in some way or another. It costs nothing to be kind, and we definitely didnât feel that from the staff.
Some of the residents spoke rudely to my husband and I various times as well saying that they just wanted their nice quiet condo back...yatta yatta.
I loved the condo itself. It was clean and beautiful, I just felt very unwelcomed by everyone there...especially since we brought our children with us.
I would probably not recommend this to a family with children! It is definitely geared more towards the older generation!
A little outdated and needs some updates especially in the kitchen. The twin beds are very small. There was also a smell that was very distinct every time we went in there.
We love Marco Island & the South Seas towers. It's a great place to spend a cold winter month.
T4-1707: The twin beds need new/better mattresses and the frames tightened. Very uncomfortable. Kitchen is in need of an update. It's difficult to cook on the1980's elec. stove with burners that cannot be leveled and the utensils need to be replaced. Housekeeping should do a better job. Open the patio doors and dust bunnies come rolling out from under the bed. The leaves on the beautiful fake plant in the living room were gray instead of green. It hasn't been dusted in years. We will not return to this unit next year.
