Nice view!

This property was not ready to rent for the time that we had booked it. It was very difficult to get into the property, the refrigerator froze all of our food, the condo had not been cleaned before we arrived and the cable did not work. If this property had been properly prepared, I’m sure it would have been a totally different experience. The views are very nice.

Amazing place!

I was hesitant to book this unit since it appeared to be a new listing with no reviews, but so glad I did anyway! The condo is gorgeous, exactly as pictured. Tons of space. The view is amazing! Furnishings are good quality and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, and lots of extra supplies. There is construction going on at the entrance of the neighborhood, but we never heard noise from it. One tip - the lockbox may be hard to locate. As you come up the steps at the entrance turn right - it’s at the bottom of the middle post. Places we visited - Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Winery, Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock. All were great! Will definitely return - don’t hesitate to book!

Sugar Mountain NC

This unit was very nice…perfect location with wonderful views of the mountains. My husband and I are in our eighties and the location of the lockbox for the keys was very inconvenient. Located near the floor on front entrance wall, so my husband had to get down on his knees to open it. Then he had a very hard time getting back up. We did have an issue with the ice maker not working and then water leaking onto the kitchen floor. This happened overnight our first night there, so called and reported problem early the next morning. Maintenance responded that afternoon around 5 pm. He stopped the water from leaking on the floor and returned the next morning to replace the water filter; however he found an additional problem with refrigerator so he just left the water to the ice maker turned off. So we ended up buying ice. Also, the tv did not work the whole time we were there. Never had a signal. The person from Maintenance couldn’t fix that problem. Other than these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others and stay there again ourselves.
