New cabin 1 mile from Blue Ridge Parkway. Minutes from Appalachian Trail
Starry starry nights; sounds of Tye River gurgling over rocks; absolute quiet except for the sounds of nature. Wonderful hiking trails nearby, wineries 12-Ridges 2 mile away, breweries and distilleries miles away. Crabtree Falls and Piney River bike trail close by.
Excellent location! Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek and we could easily watch them as we made a fire and relaxed on the porch. Bedroom was large enough to have floor space for kid mats to sleep on. Wi-Fi was weak but fire tv kept us entertained when it rained. Super close to lots of hikes and overlooks. I would book this again! Picture online do not do it justice. Very spacious for our family of four.
We had a great stay. The location of the property was perfect for our trip. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit and cooking over the fire. The cottage was well appointed. The forethought to put the cabins on backup power with a generator cane in handy after a thunderstorm that took out the power. I highly recommend a stay here. Communication with the owner was prompt.
The cabin was absolutely great. Very relaxing and far enough away, but at the same time close to many outdoor activities. Two adults and one child stayed and the cabin was a perfect size. Everything was clean and new and the area was very quiet. We spent all of our evenings on the balcony facing the creek lostening to the running water. Jerry and Chris were very personable and it was good to know if we needed anything they were ready. We will definitely be back.
For the price, would have been better if the WiFi actually worked and my family didnât presume me missing. But otherwise, cute cabin, nice amenities, and very scenic views from the cabin. The host was very responsive and helpful, aside from not being able to reach them once onsite due to the WiFi not working.
