The inviting living room boasts plush seating and an 85-inch TV, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. The first-floor master suite offers a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. Outside, a private swimming pool with LED lighting, a water feature, and a dining area creates the ultimate outdoor oasis.

Second Floor: Relaxation & Convenience

This level features a laundry room with a washer and dryer for effortless extended stays. The second master suite includes a private balcony, TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a double glass shower. Good vacation but.....

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was fine. Proximity to the beach was great. Emerald Coast is not a property management company you want to deal with. It took over 5 weeks to receive my security deposit and then they made a partial payment of $500. They will not return calls. I’m still owed $250.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the home and how close to the beach it was. The pool was so enjoyable for the kids as the ocean was a little bit cool. Will definitely be booking again next year.

Beautiful Beach Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and clean upon arrival. Pool was a great plus. Plenty of room for the whole family. Maintenance was prompt with any issues that came up. Plenty of seating, dishes, linens for the entire family. Beds were comfy. The bonus room upstairs was great for kids! We had a great stay at Choctaw.

Beautiful Home, Disappointing Rental Company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family rented the Choctaw Beach House the last week of June 2024. The house and location were perfect. We originally booked with Royal American Beach Getaways, but they transitioned their rentals to ECDI. Our communication with ECDI before and during our stay was positive. However, after we checked out, we had to wait 71 days for our security deposit refund. It took many phone calls, one of which we were hung up on, and many emails to finally receive it. We were told on multiple occasions that deposit would be returned to our credit card, and we were told it had been mailed to us in check form, but to expect it to take several weeks for delivery. After not receiving it, we emailed stating that we were consulting a lawyer, and it was finally mailed to us and we received it the second week of September - 71 days and over 2 months after our check out date of June 29th. We also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, where there are other negative reviews and complaints. Although accommodations were good, the hassle, time spent and frustration encounter after check out are not worth it. We will not use this company again, and would advise anyone considering using them to check out the BBB profile.
