From communication with the host, to check-in process, to the cleanliness and amenities of the one-bedroom villa our stay couldn't have been any better. The location was amazing, everything within the villa was clean, comfortable and felt like home the entire stay we were there. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. Everything about our stay was excellent. We were able to get into the property early before check in and the unit was very clean. We had everything we needed provided for us in the unit and we did not have to ask the host for anything. Pool areas were great along with easy access to the beach. The beach had calm waters and was perfect for us. Only downside was the lazy river was closed for cleaning for the week. Highly recommended for young families if you are considering it. Will book with this host again in the future. Thank you!

I would not recommend booking with Christian. We reserved his Marriott Aruba Surf Club unit largely because the listing advertised the resort’s pools and lazy river—important amenities for our family vacation with a 17-month-old child. We later discovered that the main pool and lazy river would be closed for major construction during our entire stay, but this was not disclosed in Christian’s VRBO listing when we booked.When we contacted Christian, he pointed to information on Marriott’s website, even though his listing never directed us there or warned us about the closures. Despite the missing disclosure and the significant effect on our vacation, he refused to provide any refund. We had to book another resort at considerable additional expense and pursue the matter through VRBO and our credit-card company.Major construction and the closure of prominently advertised amenities should be clearly disclosed before a guest pays. Christian’s refusal to take responsibility made an already stressful situation much worse. Future guests should carefully verify every resort amenity and construction schedule independently before booking with this host.

Christian was a great host. Excellent responder to all my questions. Our condo was pretty very welcoming and had the all the amenities we needed. Love the resort we were staying at. Had an excellent time.

The resort was fine - The management co who sponsor the rooms was terrible. Booked 12 months out and they cancelled 24 hrs before trip They only filled 3 of the 6 nights and we had to move rooms in between. SCAM!

The resort was great. Two days before we left for our fully paid week we were told they did not have a room for us in the middle of the week. This added a lot of stress and required moving hotels once and rooms 3 times.
