My teenager and I enjoyed our stay. Quick walk to a quiet beach. My only real complaint is the quality of what was stocked in the kitchen. Limited items that were pretty low quality. It didn't affect my stay, but an upgrade to the kitchen stock would make a huge impact.

The property was acceptably decorated and clean. It is near the beach and on the first floor, we liked that. We were very disappointed that the TV channels available were limited to TUBI, and the Olympics were on and we could not watch any of them without a subscription to one of the streaming providers, Our batteries were initially corroded, but management did replace them ASAP when we asked about that.

Excellent for quick getaway

We stayed for a quick 3 day girls trip. The property was clean on the inside.We mostly ate, town was a 15 minute walk which was perfect for us.The beach was super close and beautiful. The plumbing had an issue and the property management company had someone there within the hour to fix it! Very responsive.

Mostly perfect for a quick stay, minus one surprise

Perfect for our stay and a quick visit. Coachroach was in the kitchen, but I know thats more common in the area for even clean places. It was definitely clean. But a heads up in case you can do some spray or something. Not a nice surprise.

It was alright

The unit was quaint and nicely decorated. Overall stay was decent, but there were a few qualms. First the listing stated that there is an ice machine. Though the fridge does have an ice machine, there is no water hook-up to it therefore no ice. The guest bedroom door had to stay open, otherwise there is this loud suction/vacuuming sound coming through the bottom of the door from some weird air pressure I’m assuming due to the ac ventilation. The living area furniture is not all that comfortable when trying to enjoy a movie, it would use a huge ottoman to at least recline your feet. The dishes that were in the cabinet were not cleaned very well, and had to wash prior to use. Kitchen is scantily stocked with few utensils and there was no colander to drain pasta or other foods with. I will say the shower is pretty nice and has great water pressure.

1-When we checked in we surprised to see the condition of the attached other residences which were not well maintained. 2-Adjacent to the entry door of the property we observed what appeared to be black mold. 3-entering the property we were greeted with a musty, mildew odor that made us realize the property was not well maintained nor cleaned well. It clearly did not smell like a recently cleaned house. 4-we then decided to check the bed and once the covers were pulled back the sheets were dirty. As a result of these findings we quickly decided this was not a place for us to stay. 5-called the management company multiple times and it was at least two plus hours until we spoke and informed them we cannot stay at the site. They were unapologetic and offered to have someone come over and change the dirty sheets and the other items were ignored. 6-we quickly found alternative accommodations for the duration of our stay. 7-dealing with VRBO about the conditions and refund has been just as disappointing and apparently the management company did not respond to this issue with them. 8-VRBO finally responded about two weeks later and advised for me to dispute the charge with my card company, which they are now investigating. 9- overall this was a disaster that is still pending from our check in date of Feb 11. Despite all of this mess, we had a great time at another property in Cocoa.

Thank you for your feedback. We take guest concerns seriously and want to provide some clarification for future guests. A few days before check-in, you contacted us requesting to cancel part of your stay. As the reservation was already within the cancellation window outlined in the booking policy, we explained that a partial refund would not be available. We understand that this was disappointing. The home had been professionally cleaned and turned over the afternoon of your arrival. When you contacted us with concerns, we responded promptly and arranged for the cleaning company to be at the property within about an hour to address anything that needed attention and to replace the linens as a courtesy. Our cleaning company washes linens offsite, and the sheets from that day’s turnover were still in their vehicle. The area referenced as “black mold” was actually an exterior hose bib with minor outdoor mildew, which can occasionally occur in Florida’s humid climate and was outside the home. We also communicated with VRBO several times during their review. After reviewing the situation, they did not find evidence supporting the claims about the condition of the property. Our goal is always to provide a clean, comfortable stay and to respond quickly if a guest needs assistance. We’re glad to hear you were still able to enjoy your time in the Cocoa Beach area and wish you the best in your future travels.
