This is our second stay at Echo Lodge. We were so excited to get it for America’s 250! Our family enjoy this property and the activities the lake provides.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The views were beautiful, the amenities were fantastic, and the entire property was clean and well-maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable. Our kids especially loved having their own loft area, as well as the game/TV room on the lower level. We also rented a pontoon boat and had an amazing time out on the lake!Craig, the host, was wonderful! We had a few questions about the refrigerator during our stay and ran into some trouble getting out of the property when it was time to leave. Both times, Craig responded quickly and was incredibly kind and helpful.The only thing I would caution future guests about is the driveway. I would strongly recommend bringing an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle, rather than a front-wheel-drive vehicle. My in-laws brought a minivan and ended up needing assistance getting towed up the driveway. It's definitely something worth knowing before you arrive!Overall, we had a fantastic experience, made some wonderful family memories, and would absolutely recommend this cabin to others!

Thanks for the 5-Star review, Melissa; the feeling is mutual! We also appreciate you feedback and we're glad our maintenance team could quickly spring into action to help you up the driveway. The heavy rains from the Hurricane Isaias definitely made our gravel driveway tricky. I'm happy to report we have since had the road and driveway graded with new gravel spread/packed. Our housekeeping team and Guests who just checked out had no issues with their 2WD vehicles. Our maintenance team determined the ice maker's dispenser door could not be repaired to keep it from dripping small amounts of water in the door trap. As such, a brand-new refrigerator was ordered and the current will be repurposed to the basement level bar area (without water hookup) to serve as reserve fridge/freezer space. All's well that ends well! Thank you so much for your understanding and your kind words. We look forward to hosting you and your family again soon! Blessings, Craig & Andrea

This is an awesome lake front cabin that's perfectly set up for a large or extended family trip. Everything was clean and in great condition and we had tons of fun on the lake!

The lodge was exceptional! We loved all the outdoor living spaces, the unique indoor spaces and decor, the active outdoor equipment, and the amazing view from inside of the lake. Lots of games and books and a very clean, large hot tub with a view!

Had such a wonderful time at the cabin! It was the perfect spot for some great family time—peaceful, remote, and surrounded by nature. We absolutely loved the lake, especially spending our days canoeing and kayaking. Such a relaxing and memorable getaway. Can’t wait to go back!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 10 to celebrate Christmas. Everything about it was wonderful!! The kitchen, the decor, the view and communication with our host! We loved having coffee on the porch every morning and sitting by the fire on the screened porch every evening! We all decided this cabin was a "keeper" and we hope to return one day! Thank you Craig and Andrea for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful home, beautiful area. An overall excellent stay at Echo Lake Lodge. The owner was easily accessible via phone and/or text and was extremely helpful. Definitely a place to visit; I know we’ll be back!

Everything was perfect about this cabin.

New cabin built in beautiful location. Across the lake marina with café making good food and summer time delivering pizza by boats. Cabin have everything and behind for large group Definitely recommend.

Amazing Stay!

This was truly an amazing Thanksgiving away. The cabin was great! It clean and very accommodating for a family of 12. Pictures simply cannot capture how beautiful the view was. The owners were great and very responsive with any questions we had. My family and I had an amazing time and will definitely return.

This home is gorgeous with breathtaking views of the lake.

Beautiful home and location. Very spacious for our large extended family. The porches are comfortable and inviting. The dock was very stable and secure. We enjoyed the paddle boarding and canoeing. Our favorite spot on this lovely lake.

Quiet and relaxing

It was an amazing experience, being on the lake you could enjoy time on the dock, deck, or in the water. It was nice getting away from electronics and focus on the surrounding nature.

Quiet cove

Echo cabin was exactly as described. Fantastic lake views!! Fully stocked, great layout and easy lake access!! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking up the view from the many porches, hot tub and the dock. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Lake Front Cabin in the Mountains

Wonderful cabin! Plenty of room and great porches and decks to gather together and enjoy the wonderful views. Everything was immaculate and well appointed. You are definitely staying in the mountains when vacationing here, but that is exactly what we wanted. Thanks for the hospitality. We were impressed and will be back!

Great Waterfront Escape

This house was the perfect location with just the right amount of activities for multiple families. Both kids and adults enjoyed the wide assortment of games, hot tub, kayaking and boating on the lake, to relaxing around the beautiful outside sitting areas. It was extremely peaceful listening to the babbling brook at night while sitting around the campfire. We would definitely recommend this property with many hopes to stay here again!

Beautiful place, wonderful view, well equipped!!

We loved this place, beautiful! During the rainy season I’d recommend a heavy car or 4 wheel drive, the mountain is steep going up to get out. Also stock up on groceries an beverages the county is dry, grocery is a little far. Orher than that, it was amazing!!!
