Great view from the balcony & super convenient beach access! Waiting until the day of for correspondence for check in was hard as I am a planner and worried about the process and knowing how to get in.

Great Getaway

The overall property (Kingston) was amazing. The condo was wonderful! Well stocked. Love the decor. Very convenient to pool, currents, ocean access and Black Drum Restaurant which I would highly recommend. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Gorgeous View, Great Amenities, Difficult Neighbors

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love staying at Kingston Resort's Condos. This was our second time, and it was even better than the last! While we will absolutely want to come to the condos again, we are not sure we will stay in this condo a second time. We loved all the amenities with the variety of pools and the waterpark. We also loved the access to the gym. The view was gorgeous- it was second to none. The entire condo was spotlessly clean at arrival. The master was huge with a great tub, and the guest room had two very comfortable beds (would love for the master mattress to upgrade)! We also used the pull out couch. Unfortunately, the evening we arrived we discovered our kitchen sink faucet was broken. We cook most of our food on vacation, and that wasn't going to cut it. We had to reach out for repairs. The next morning, the hall bathroom's shower didn't work. We had to reach out again. Both of these times, maintenance came quickly, which was extremely helpful. These weren't a big deal, but combined with the last difficulty, this condo made our trip a challenge because we weren't able to spend our time the way we wanted. Three days before we left, the neighbor directly below us arrived and began smoking marijuana every few hours from breakfast until 3am. We could no longer go outside on our porch, and even with the doors closed the fumes came into the condo. We contacted security and they came quickly the first time, but couldn't find the person. They said they would come back the next time it happened, but they didn't answer our calls any longer. We tried four numbers and no one answered. We spent the last 72 hours of our trip worrying about what our kids were breathing in and trying to avoid the condo. It was a sad ending. We would like to see a greater staff presence at Brighton tower, because we felt isolated and without help when things like this happened. This would be a five star stay if we had received the support for our family that we needed.

Very clean condo, some pros, some cons

Overall cleanliness was very good. Kitchen has plenty of cookware, necessities and is nicely done. Living room is slightly small if at capacity (we only had 3, so was fine). We enjoyed a few of the board games. Decor and furniture is nicely done. Missed having a broom for the sand. Cons were the small pool size and only one hot tub (which the condo owner has no control over). Yes, this is part of a group, but you’ll need transportation to get to another pool, and the indoor pool is some distance. I didn’t realize this when booking, so other renters should be aware. There is a golf cart rental close by. The view is really nice and the top floor ensures a bit more quiet. A key code for entry would be great, as keeping up with the key card got old. Overall was a great stay, and we would def stay again.
