Welcome to your dream getaway on Moosehead Lake in Moose Lake, MN! This stunning 2,300 square foot log home sits on 1.7 acres of pristine lakefront property, offering breathtaking sunrises and serene lake views from every room. With 3 bedrooms, each featuring a private bathroom, and 3.5 baths in total, this luxurious retreat comfortably sleeps 18 guests, with additional accommodations in the expansive detached entertaining building.

Main House Features
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy for all guests. The main house sleeps 6.
Gourmet Kitchen: A large, fully equipped kitchen with Big Chill appliances, perfect for preparing delicious meals.
Living Spaces: Open-concept living and dining areas with large windows overlooking the lake, providing stunning views and abundant natural light.
Outdoor Amenities: Enjoy the large deck and gazebo, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. The property also includes a fire pit, a private dock with steps into the sandy-bottomed lake, two kayaks, and a rowboat.

Detached Entertainment Building
Size: A 4,000 square foot building with a 1,200 square foot sleeping area on the second level. This entire space is heated in the winter.
Entertainment: This space is a paradise for fun and games, featuring two dart boards, a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, shuffleboard, putting green, cornhole, and two ping pong tables and more! This area is heated in the winter.
Media: Two large flatscreen televisions and Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Sleeping Quarters: The upstairs area includes three dormers, each with a queen-size bed, and three queen-size sleeper sofas, accommodating up to 12 guests. Each dormer area offers lake views and is heated in the winter.
Bathrooms: Two bathrooms, with one located upstairs and one downstairs (including a urinal).

Great place for a family getaway! There was truly something for everyone to enjoy. From kayaking and the sauna to air hockey and darts the amenities kept all ages entertained. Our group of 16 family members, ranging from 4 to 80 years old, had an amazing time. The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and provided the perfect setting for making family memories. We would definitely recommend it for large family gatherings or group vacations.

4th of July getaway

The main cabin and entertainment buildings are beautiful and accommodated our large group perfectly. The location is in a neighborhood but also right on the lake so you still feel “up north”. It was a short walk into town which was awesome!

This home is WONDERFUL! All necessities are provided. Kitchen fully stocked. We had our yearly girls get-together here and will definitely use this place next year. We even has fun with all the games in the game room garage. The hosts responded quickly with any questions we had. If i could rate higher than a 5, it would be very high.

Unforgettable Family Getaway at a Beautiful Lake House

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake house for my son’s 10th birthday celebration. The property is perfect for families! The converted garage served as a fun rec room with lots of games, keeping the kids entertained for hours. The floors are also heated! Upstairs, there was a spacious living area with plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The main house was equally impressive, with cozy bedrooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The best part, though, was the breathtaking view of the lake—absolutely gorgeous! The owners were so friendly and quick to help with any questions we had, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had such a fantastic time and will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place for a memorable family getaway.

Pictures don’t do it justice!

This place has everything! It looks big in the pictures, but in person, the magnitude of the property hits you. It is full of areas to hang out, with a gazebo, multiple patio sets, an outdoor fire area with room for everyone and multimillion-dollar lake view. The garage entertainment area has a pool table, darts, bar, and a bathroom with urinal! A short walk from everything in town (including outstanding Moose Lake Brewing!), but also has a secluded feel like a private resort. It was perfect for my wife and I, along with a few couple friends, with private space for everyone. The owners were very kind quick to respond to questions about the property and local things to do. Highly recommended!

Exceeding Expectations on EVERY level

You rarely find a property as gorgeous and high quality as this. As a lakefront with a spectacular view, it is not isolated and super close to town (and the brewery) for those unforeseen runs to the store. From the soaring ceilings to the gourmet kitchen, this property hit ALL of the notes. We had 12 guests with adults, teens and children and we had PLENTY of room to stretch out, hang out, or chill at the firepit. The bedrooms were comfortably appointed with plenty of privacy if you need it. The game room was bigger than my 1st house with a putting green, pool table, darts and more. Kevin and Betty Lou were excellent hosts with fast response times and answering all of our questions. Don't think twice about booking this gem in God's country, just do it.

Unforgettable Lakeside Retreat at Moosehead Lake

We recently stayed at this spectacular lakefront log home, and it exceeded all our expectations! Located conveniently under two hours from the Twin Cities, this place offers the perfect blend of accessibility and secluded charm. The house boasts three spacious bedrooms each with private bathrooms, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. Additional sleeping quarters above the game room provided ample space for our large group, complete with air conditioning and cozy queen beds. Waking up to serene lake views and enjoying coffee from the nearby Caribou Coffee by the fire pit became our favorite morning ritual. The property's vast yard and screened gazebo were perfect for days spent outdoors, and the kayaks and rowboat added a fun splash to our lake adventures. The 2,800 sq foot game room was a hit among kids and adults alike, packed with entertainment like ping-pong, darts, pool table, air hockey, cornhole, shuffle board and foosball, making every evening memorable. Proximity to local shops and the charming town of Moose Lake meant we never ran out of things to do and explore. Hosts Kevin and Betty Lou were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home right from the start. Their attention to detail and readiness to assist with anything we needed contributed significantly to our wonderful stay. For anyone looking for a luxurious yet comfortable getaway with family or friends, this VRBO property is a true gem. Can't wait for our next visit!

This property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family gathering over the Fourth of July! The Little town of Moose Lake had a sweet parade and beautiful fireworks over the lake. The host were excellent and communicated well. Check in and check out went smoothly. Expectations were very clear.
