The Retreat is aptly named - so lovely and rejuvenating! The furnished balcony is large and the wall of windows makes you feel like you’re in the trees even from the well-appointed living room, dining area and kitchen. It has absolutely everything you need and the queen size bed was very comfortable. Communication with Brandon was excellent - directions accurate and instructions for check-in and check-out very clear and easy. Could not recommend more highly!

We needed a last minute booking for my parents. The host, Brandon was very quick to answer questions and understood our need. He answered questions wry accurately and even left a celebratory bottle of wine!

Beautiful property and very reponsive host. The only thing that could improve is a map for lake access inside the resort. Excellent place to stay. I would definitely stay again.

The trees were beautiful with fall colors. Plenty of paved paths for walking. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay while make visits.

We had a nice stay. The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a nice sized shower (no bathtub). I knew from reading the reviews that there would be no lake view from the balcony and we were fine with that. It has a wooded view and the balcony was peaceful. What I didn’t know was that it’s an upstairs unit with lots of stairs leading up to it. Even parking in the fire lane there was no easy way to load and unload my car, It took many trips up and down those stairs as I was unable to carry the cooler of food I had brought into the unit - I had to unload it and reload it piecemeal. I’m in my 50s so maybe it’s not a big deal to most but it was a big deal for me and my aunt who is almost 70 and has had knee surgery. It just really would have been nice to know that detail ahead of time as I could have planned differently or made the decision to book somewhere else. I took off one star for that lack of detail as it might be important for some people to know that before they book a stay. But overall it was a nice place and a nice visit and Brandon was a very good host.

We enjoyed the tastefully decorated condo. Our destination was Brown County, so we also enjoyed the scenic drive over to Nashville and to the park.

Brandon offered a very clean, well maintained condo. It had several amenities. A perfect place to stay while we spent a day hiking in the Charles Dean Wilderness. Brandon communicates very well. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate and so cute. The view of the woods was peaceful. You have to take a walk to get a lake view, but once you do, it’s lovely. The bed was super comfortable and my husband really liked the loft office set-up with a pretty view. Perfect anniversary get-away. 25 minutes to Bloomington with lots of food and fun options.

We absolutely loved this little getaway spot!

Very clean, charming and well furnished condo, great location, we enjoyed the pool and back patio overlooking the woods. We will definitely rent here again! The host was amazing to work with and even left us ladies a little treat!

Great stay near IU!

Lovely condo on a beautiful golf course near Lake Monroe. Close to IU. Clean and comfortable with a nice outdoor space. Brandon was a great host - very informative! Would definitely stay again!

Brandon‘s place is just lovely! Super charming and comfy! I enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and watching the wildlife and hearing the breeze through the trees. I totally would stay again!

Girls Trip

My daughters and I had a great getaway in this lovely condo! It was a perfect set up for all of us to enjoy time together. The golf course this is located on is beautiful and the restaurant on the property was wonderful as well. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed!
