We had an absolutely amazing stay at Love Sand. The views from every angle are breathtaking and the house is extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend renting a Wrangler (or other off road vehicle) . We're already looking at our calendars to book another stay!

We had a great stay. The house was very nice and similar to the pictures posted online. The view is incredible and worth the stay alone. The only challenging part of the trip was the ability to call Ubers / Lyfts into town given the remote nature of the house - sometimes the wait time was upwards of 20 minutes. Additionally, the instructions to arrive at the house can be challenging for drivers.

Ocean Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights and are sad to leave. The property is iconically Nantucket. Its location - and the views- is spectacular. It is well equipped for a relaxing family or couples vacation. Hope we can make it back.

Amazing Love Sand

We spent a week at Love Sand mid september and we had the most amazing vacation. The house is spectacular and we fell asleep to the waves crashing each night. My favorite spot was the balcony off the master where I would have my coffee each morning. The house is cozy and is outfitted with everything you need to have a great vacation.

The house was so clean and spacious. Such attention to detail! The kitchen was very fully equipped with anything we needed (and more!). Walked the beach every day, saw lots of seals. Best sunsets and sunrises!

Beautiful Location/ Views. Only 15 min from ferry, beach walk to Millies, but feels nestled away with beach to ourselves. House has everything you would need. Would love to go back.

Beautiful location

The home was lovely and the views fantastic, especially sunsets. Lots of seal sitings! What people should know: the road is dirt, rutted, bumpy and fits one car at a time. So a 4-wheel-drive is nice or something that sits high off the road. The beach and views were wonderful, but the beach is not good for kids. Would pick another beach to sit and play for the day.

Love Sand is a relaxing & beautifully designed retreat. The views are breathtaking while the sounds of the sea surround the home. You can embrace the mist on the windows as it reminds you of your closeness to the sea. So enjoyable!

Gorgeous location and beautifully updated house

This property was everything we were looking for. It’s very far from town but that’s what we wanted. The house itself is beautiful and updated with a really nice, well-equipped kitchen. There’s even A/C which was nice. The manager was so cooperative and helpful. Our stay couldnt have been better.

Beautiful home with an enviable ocean view

The home is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. There are porches on all sides so you can always find a sunny or shady spot - whichever is your preference. The upper deck provides beautiful views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time there. I highly recommend this lovely location.

Wonderful House, Setting & Location

Our entire family loved everything about Love Sand. Location was great! House was perfectly set up and furnished! Karen was wonderful to deal with! Exactly what we were looking for - a house in a location that affords easy access to town, bike path and beach. One can choose how to spend their vacation - we personally enjoy the solitude of the beach!

Sunset Solace

Love Sand is a Madaket treat! The off road excursion to get to Love Sand holds some adventure leading to a very peaceful setting by the water. The house worked perfectly for our party of 6 women celebrating a special birthday. Thank you for making our celebration so special. A great place to stay and fabulous setting!

Wonderful Retreat

Love Sand, Madaket on the Beach was an absolutely wonderful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all the beauty of Nantucket. Although it's a little out of the way, it was just what we were looking for as a base to explore deserted beaches, view the daffodils before the crowds arrived for the annual festival, and visit the uncrowded shops in town. The house is beautiful- just as it was pictured on the website, and it's true that we didn't want to leave it most of the time! We hope to be back some day.

Beautiful and well kept home!

My wife and I really enjoyed everything about Love Sand. It's quietly nestled on the south west shore of the island in Madaket. We honeymooned in Nantucket and will go back to Madaket every year - the sunsets are fantastic (especially from the master suites porch!). Karen is the property manager and she couldn't have been more pleasant or easy to deal with. We will absolutely try to get back to Love Sand next year!

April vacation

This home will not disappoint! It's an adventure just getting to it and such a delight upon arrival! The view of the ocean is spectacular, especially at sunset. We expected to eat out often, but the kitchen was so well equipped that we cooked and ate at home most of the time. I had a couple of questions and Karen answered quickly. She had great information to make our visit more enjoyable. We would love to come back for another visit!

Fantastic vacation spot!

Perfect location, beautiful beach, wonderfully inviting house...all make for an amazing vacation. The house was exactly as advertised. There was space to spread out with a fabulous living area, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the master suite was the icing on the cake. The two big tables made it easy to have an eating space and a game/puzzle space. The deck was wonderful to sit on in the Adirondack chairs in the morning with a cup of coffee and just stare out into the ocean, and a couple of nights we made our way down to the beach with the sand chairs to watch the brilliant show put on in the night sky. Will definitely return to Love Sand!

Awesome Beach House!

The close proximity from house to beach was terrific. I enjoyed walks along the beach with my dog and exploring the nearby dirt roads and paths. The house is fantastic - lots of light even on cloudy days and it was nice to sit on the deck watching the waves and the sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped. Water pressure in the shower was great, better than I expected. During my stay at the house Karen, the property manager, was readily available to answer my questions about the island and the property, even directing me to where things were located.Truly a wonderful place to experience a relaxing time by the sea!

Perfect house in secluded location

First walk on the beach right down the driveway revealed a seal just hanging out. Then every day there were more. This was the first time we ever experienced this sight. It was amazing! The house was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need. Short ride to anywhere on the island you may want to explore. Karen was great to deal with. She was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. Overall, a great vacation.

Incredible Beach Front Madaket Gem!

I just returned from a week at Love Sand with my family and absolutely LOVED IT! It is a magical home in an amazing beach front location - views of the ocean from 3 of the 4 sides of the house. Great for kids, Incredible privacy. Well appointed and beautifully decorated, with fresh linens and beach towels for your use. Very accurately portrayed. Very clean upon arrival. I highly recommend it. Karen, the manager, was a joy to deal with. A 10 minute beach walk in the morning to Millie's for coffee and muffins. Incredible sunsets from your decks. I can't wait to return next year. Of Note - The beach has had some erosion in the past few years so it has a few steps down a small set of stairs to access the beach - which may be an issue to older renters.

ACK as it was meant to be

Great property for those looking for a little seclusion on the island. We generally stay near town, but this trip wanted to be closer to the ocean and further from civilization. This house offered it all. Sandy beach right out the back door (very private, but for the seals), beautiful deck for viewing the stars, and scenic dirt roads in every direction for those who enjoy a morning run. Kitchen was properly stocked with all the necessary utensils, and the WiFi / Direct TV worked perfectly for that one rainy day when we couch surfed. Town, grocery store, and Cisco Brewery are less than 15min Uber ride away, but recommend bringing a car (Jeep) if planning on making frequent runs around the island. Also recommend sleeping with the patio doors open....the waves crashing at night will put you right to sleep. 5-Stars. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Karen!
