Exceeded expectations!

Usually the pictures of a property set high expectations but the reality of the house falls short. This house had great pictures (why we booked it) but the actual house was even better. Would 100% book again the next time we visit the island. Location was perfect for walking downtown and super close to the buses to get to other parts of the island.

The Second Wind is beautiful, comfortable, and cozy - inside and out! This home has everything you need to relax and enjoy your getaway. The location is perfect - close to town, restaurants, shops, bike paths, marina, and beach. Wish we could have stayed longer!

So perfect we almost wanted to keep it a secret

After many years at the White Elephant and renting in Tom Nevers, we opted to secure a home in town this year. Our family, including our twin teenage daughters and their two best friends, embarked on a vacation that exceeded all expectations, thanks to this remarkable home. From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that this house was something special. The newness of the home was apparent, and the attention to detail in its decor was nothing short of impressive. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of thoughtfulness and style that immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. One aspect that stood out was the meticulous cleanliness that greeted us. It's not often that you encounter a vacation rental that sparkles as if it were brand new, but this house delivered that and more. The brightness of the space added to the overall charm of the house. Natural light streamed through numerous windows, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere that we all adored. And the location? Absolutely phenomenal! Being able to walk to town and enjoy the bustling energy, or bike to the nearby beaches, was an experience our entire girls relished. And for my wife and I, the quiet street and easy access to the plethora of nearby restaurants made our evenings delightful and stress-free. Even though we didn't encounter any issues during our stay, we had a few questions throughout the week, and the owner was incredibly responsive. We're now eagerly awaiting our return.
