I felt misled by this rental. The photos must have been taken right after a renovation, because the current condition doesn't match. The home is clearly worn and in need of some TLC. If you're not particular about aesthetics, it may be fine â but for me, the chipped paint, beat-up doors, overgrown weeds instead of landscaping, and overall neglected appearance gave the home an uninviting, almost trashy feel.Thereâs no dishwasher (which I knew), but surprisingly, also no drain plug â making it difficult to even hand-wash dishes. The kitchen was poorly stocked; we struggled to prepare two simple meals, and ended up ordering pizza the last night just to avoid the hassle.The couch was another letdown. It literally falls apart when you sit on it. Rather than replacing it, slipcovers have been added to the bottom cushions, which only makes it look more run-down.The beds were very uncomfortable. Any time one person rolled over or moved, the other person felt it. Not a great setup for getting a restful nightâs sleep.We didn't use the amenities. We were in town for my sonâs BMT graduation and he couldnât swim. That said, one of the photos shows a machine with a cord left in the pool, and it stayed there throughout our stay.I booked this rental based on glowing reviews and was genuinely disappointed. This place has potential, but it badly needs upkeep and more attention to guest comfort.
