Bristol Cottage at Tiffany's Cottages! New In-Ground Pool, Night Life, GOTL Lake

Location, Location, Location! A little bit Rustic and little bit fun! Authentic GOTL! This 1940s cottage is down a no outlet street, real close to Yankies Night Club (0.1 miles away), Old Firehouse Winery that overlooks the Lake(0.1 miles away), and Sportsterz Bar (0.2 miles away).
High Tide Tavern (0.2 miles away), Swiss Chalet and Beer Garden (0.1 miles away), Murphy's Pub and Ale House (0.1 miles away). Great live music, food, and entertainment just about a block away!
Plus all the shopping--there are all sorts of fun little, independently owned shops, the coffee shop, arcades, Ziplines, mini golf, tennis courts, a real 18 hole golf course that was the site of the Ohio Open years ago, and so much more.

Inside the cottage you'll find a screened in porch with party lights and a porch swing. Inside the original French doors you'll find a new, larger Smart TV where you can input your info to stream your favorite streaming channels. There is a sofa, leather chair, a table for 4, and a kitchen. In the kitchen there is a full size gas stove, full size fridge, microwave, drip style coffee pot, basic kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes and cups.
Bristol Cottage at Tiffany's Cottages has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and a dresser (Bedding is not provided). The bathroom is split with the shower off of one of the bedrooms with an additional sink and the toilet and sink having it's own room allowing more people being able to get ready for the day or evening at the same time!

Outside Bristol Cottage at Tiffany's Cottages has it's own picnic table and charcoal grill. We have a communal firepit, new, fenced inground pool with concrete patio, and green space for all the registered guests at Tiffany's Cottages.
*Please bring your own firewood, charcoal, and starter fluid.

Yes, we have coin washers and dryers in the Laundry Cottage.

What all is provided?
We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, basic cleaning supplies, basic cooking supplies Note: we do not provide bed linens or towels.

Are there stairs?
Yes, there are 2 steps to get into Bristol Cottage.

Great location

The place is definitely dated but it's in a great location. Host was very responsive. It hade verything we needed.

Location on point!

Location was great. Pool area was fantastic. However the cottage itself really needs some updates!! The 1 tiny window air-conditioning units was old and smelled when tried to use it. There were 6 fans to use though. Luckily it was not too hot this week. Overall experience was ok. 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
Only picture i took to send to my kids. The inside wasn't anything to take pictures of!

Short getaway

The one bed and pull out bed were so hard I could hardly move the follow day. It would have been nice for a message with a heads up there had been a storm the night before and there currently wasn’t any power in the town. I would have cancelled my trip instead of spending all that money.

I wish I could add photos to this review. The whole house is very outdated the bathroom looks like an outhouse. Pillows and mattresses were covered in plastic and we were not informed there were no sheets, blankets and towels until after checking in. We had to go out and purchase all bedding and towels. I recommended her updating her listing to make future travelers aware of this so they weren’t as caught off guard as we were. Perks: this is very close to the strip and has a beautiful shared pool area.

Thank you for your kind words about our pool and location! Don’t forget the great green space, privacy, fire pit, and screened in porch with the porch swing! Something we love about Geneva on the Lake is that there is something for everyone—and there are a variety of price points to accommodate different guests’ needs. This cottage is older and rustic which appeals to our regular guests who have come for decades. Normally, I don’t ever respond to negative reviews, but the outhouse comment needs to be addressed. Our bathroom does not look like an outhouse. The bathroom has the toilet and a sink in one room and the shower and a sink in another(like how many hotels have the toilet and shower separated). The one sink is the original 1940s style enamel sink—we love keeping the historical fixtures when possible! Yes, we do have allergen and bedbug protectors on all our new mattresses and pillows. I do go a little extra on all of that protection stuff—it just makes me feel better knowing I’ve protected my guests as best as possible. We’re sorry our accommodation wasn’t what this guest was looking for or expecting. I still hope she and her friends had a wonderful time enjoying our area!

Bristol Cottage

Older cottage, close to GOTL Strip. The sofa sleeper was unusable due to the fact that the bed portion was filled with mouse feces and the mattress had been chewed up. There was debris and filth underneath the couch. It was definitely a health hazard. The owner was advise and their response was “ we will let the cleaning crew know.” No apologies. We had a get an air mattress to accommodate our party in another cottage.
