Our second year staying in this property, almost tenth in the neighborhood. Love this one if you don't mind a little walk each day to the beach. Great time with family mix of ages from 4-60. House is plenty large to accommodate such a large group.
The property is a very accomodating for large families, The location and views are superb. Would definitely recommend this property to other travelers!.
We loved staying at the Seahorse house it was perfect for our family and the buck room was the best for my 4 granddaughters, they loved it. WIFI wasnât the best but we were fine without! Fort Morgan was very interesting for any history buffsâŠ
We had a great stay with our group of 15! The home was beautiful and had lots of room. A bit of a walk to the beach but overall a beautiful and quiet area!
A great house and location. We have stayed in the same neighborhood for multiple years, but first time in this property. For our large group of 4 families, this was by far the nicest place we've stayed. Beautiful inside, roomy, and great views of the gulf and the bay from the back and front of the house. Very large covered porch was a bonus, too! Loved the icemaker, very large dining room table, and huge kitchen as we ate almost all our meals at the house. Plenty of room to spread out!
The house was amazing . Big and clean. We were very disappointed bc the pool was closed all week and we had small children wanting to swim . The house was at the back of the subdivision so it was a long walk to beach but other than that all the accommodations were fabulous!
We love this house. We stayed here last summer as well. It is a little walk to the beach but we didn't mind that due to the privacy. The kitchen is huge and there is plenty of space for our group. The reason I gave check-in 4 stars was because the cleaning crew was still there and did not finish until after 5:00. However, it was due to an employee being out sick so they had to send back-up. We are already planning next summer!
Our family spent Christmas at this house and it fit everyone wonderfully! Close enough to the beach to hear the waves in the morning and at night while having a fire in the fireplace! Also super close to be able to walk the beach!
The elevator was an amazing amenity for our older family to get around the house safely!
So much room for everyone; the kitchen was well stocked for cooking; two dishwashers; and a proper ice maker to boot!
A great place for large families to feel cozy and also comfortable! (Only fuss was the couch could be more comfortableâŠ)
We had 9 adults and 4 kids ages 1-6, and were delighted to discover that this house actually has 7 bedrooms, as the bunk room wasnât counted. This allowed one of the young families to use two of the bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bath as one large suite so the kids would be close to their parents. The bunk room is actually on the ground floor with the garage, far from all the other bedrooms. It made a great playroom during the day as well as a hideaway for those needing some private time. The pictures online are dated. The kitchen is now white and bright, and the current dining table seats 10 comfortably. The dining table is actually two tables butted against each other so we separated them for game nights. The view of the ocean from the upper level uncovered deck was fantastic. The view from the main level covered deck is almost completely obscured due to the trees and shrubs around the property. The walk to the beach is a little farther than we originally thought, but we had rented a golf cart which helped tremendously for getting tents, chairs, etc. to the beach. When we werenât carrying things to the beach, the walk wasnât bad⊠maybe a 4 to 5 minute walk. The lagoon fishing docks closest to the property are private. There is one uncovered community dock near the first turn on the gravel road which the culdesac is on. The other roads in the neighborhood are paved. There is no access to nature trails. Maintenance responded quickly to a few issues we had. Overall A+!
We love Seahorse Hideaway! We also love being in Laguna Key. This house is perfect for our family. We are planning on coming back next year. It is clean, comfortable, and private. There are views of the bay and the ocean. Also, the property manager was great. She addressed our needs promptly.
Beautiful spacious home! If we had anything to change it would be to have a better view of the ocean from the main level however the view of the bay was awesome. Only complaint was the elevator could be a little more handy. Beautifully decorated! Well stocked kitchen! Would highly recommend!
This house was perfect for our family of 16. The elevator was a plus. Kitchen is huge with two dishwashers and two sinks, very helpful. The pictures don't do it justice as the dining table seats 12. We used the porches a lot as the furniture was comfortable and the covered porch kept us out of the sun but still enjoying the view! It's a quick walk to the beach, pool and tennis courts. The only disappointment was the wifi connection. It needs upgraded to handle that many devices, especially for those who needed to log into work. Overall, it was great.
My family had a great time. The house was above our expectations. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time together. The pool and beach access were very convenient.
Although on the first night we had issues with the master bath toilet, the maintenance guy was called around 3:00am and he came to check out the problem.
I would recommend this property to other families.
This was our 15th vacation at various houses in Laguna Key. This house has been updated since the last pictures were taken. Looked wonderful. We had some minor issues during the week with the AC and WiFi. The gentleman and company who handled the maintenance was excellent and spent the time necessary on site to fix everything promptly and professionally. We will be staying in this house again next summer because it is well maintained.
