À propos de cet hébergement
Scenic Serenity in Clifton - Number 6306
If you’re looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Cape Town, then look no further than Clifton Court Apartments. Nestled in the exclusive Clifton neighborhood, this apartment offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy access to some of Cape Town’s most popular attractions. The apartment is spacious, and modern, featuring modern finishes and appliances.
The building is a touch of heritage, a dab of art décor and dash of 21st century style smoothly blended to be strikingly appealing. Number 6306 is on the third floor, a little like an eagle’s nest with 180-degree ocean views. A long, lazy balcony ribbons along the front façade of the apartment, so you can chill outside and be mesmerised by the Atlantic – while the world goes by at street level down below. Sea views are unpunctuated.
When you step inside, the apartment feels just as relaxed. Raw wood and raffia, seagrass and soft natural textures give the space a serene personality. There’s a sense of being grounded and close to earth – even though you’re elevated – a feeling of modern Zen-ness but with every comfort considered. Glass doors stack away to open up the whole front of the apartment for sea breezes and sunsets.
The living area and master bedroom are open plan, with a room divider creating necessary privacy for sleeping. There’s also a private relaxation area in the bedroom, for time out and solitude. The bedroom of course enjoys a private bathroom, and the loo doubles for guest use.
A second bedroom is en-suite and at the back of the apartment. Throw open the curtains here and Table Mountains’ Lion’s Head will be framed in the window. This mountain view is dramatically close and beautiful. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds.
Number 6306 is ideally suited to a family or two couples wanting to explore this enchanting section of the Atlantic seaboard – and then escape to a place of calm. There’s a lush garden outside, which will have you forgetting you’re in the city. And there’s off-road parking nearby too, which is the true luxury in Clifton. It’s all right there and created for your enjoyment.
Ah Clifton … it’s thoroughly stylish, understatedly elegant and fantastically close to Cape Town’s choice attractions and favourite eateries. The area is simply perfectly located for absolutely anything you’d like to see, do or experience in affluent Cape Town. All things beautiful – city and sea – are within striking distance.
The Sea Point promenade is just 3km down the road and is safely walkable by day. Camps Bay is even closer. Importantly, all four of Clifton’s sugar-white swimming beaches are also walking distance from Number 6306 and, if you want to venture a little further without walking or driving, the My City bus stop is conveniently right in front of the apartment.
At Number 6306, you are literally in the middle of all the finest Sea Point and Camps Bay restaurants – and the list is long – with the Eatery Clifton super close by for a quick coffee or snack on the run. And the V&A Waterfront is a mere 6km down the road. You simply couldn’t wish for a more convenient ‘home base’.
Uber is readily available and the My Citi bus stop is about 100 meters from the apartment.
All over Cape Town, you’ll find paid parking structures, free street parking, and in the City Bowl and a few other areas, such as Sea Point, paid street parking. There are no parking meters, so when you see the “pay and display” parking sign, look for the parking attendant – or most likely they’ll find you. Parking is currently under R5 per 15 minutes. In areas where street parking is free, expect to be approached by “car guards,” who ask for a tip in exchange for watching over your car.
Housekeeping included according to the duration of your stay. Please enquire with your host on confirmation.
A private chef can be arranged for daily meals or your specific requirements.
