It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain skiing (shuttle service available), renowned as North Carolina's most significant ski slope.
25-minute drive to Beech Mountain skiing.
25-minute drive to Boone, NC, and App State University.
Within an hour's drive to Watauga Lake, it is recognized as the 3rd cleanest lake in the nation.
The condo complex boasts various resort amenities and offers 24/7 security.

The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed, a smart TV, and a ceiling fan, and it has an attached full Bathroom 1.
Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, a smart TV, and a ceiling fan.
Bathroom 2 is a full bathroom located adjacent to Bedroom 2.

Outdoor

Sliding patio doors lead onto a balcony with a screen door, offering breathtaking views of Grandfather and the Appalachian Mountains.

Ceiling fans and table lamps are provided in the living room and both bedrooms.

This is a gated community and a parking pass is required. You will have access to the entire condo, pool area, workout facilities, and steam room/sauna.

Please ensure that all guests included in your reservation are accounted for. Only registered guests are permitted on the property if they intend to stay on time. Any unannounced guests will incur a charge of $100 per guest per night, and you will have to leave the premises immediately. Please look at the listing thoroughly to ensure the comfort of all your guests.

Trash disposal in the condo complex is facilitated through the trash chute to the right as you exit the unit and go down the hall. All trash must be securely bagged and tied.

As this is a condominium, please be considerate of neighbors residing in adjacent units.

Air conditioning is rare in this area, particularly at this elevation, so no central AC exists. However, ceiling fans are provided in both bedrooms and the living room, and the unit is equipped with central heating.

To operate the fireplace, please use the remote control. If it fails to turn on, a button is on the lower right side of the fireplace itself. Remember to use the remote to turn off the fireplace as well.

Condo Amenities:

The indoor heated pool operates from 9 am to 11 pm.
The sauna, Jacuzzis, and exercise room are accessible from 7 am to 11 pm.
A bar within the complex often hosts a food truck. Operating hours are as follows:
Thursday: 4-11 pm
Friday-Saturday: 3-11 pm
Sunday: 5-8 pm

Ski Recommendations:

Option 1: Drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort using your vehicle. It's approximately 3.4 miles away and a 10-minute drive without traffic. However, during peak weekends or holidays, travel time may extend to 30 minutes, and parking could be challenging.

Option 2: Use the Village Ski Shuttle directly from the Guard Gate to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. The bus schedule is on the SeeSugar website.

Option 3 (Recommended): This option is highly convenient, especially if you have your ski gear or plan to rent from a local shop. Numerous rental shops are within a 5-minute drive. Park your car near the Sugar Top Guard Gate, where a ski lift awaits just 50-75 yards away. Ski down and purchase your lift ticket at the bottom. After skiing, take the lift back up and walk over to your car. This method minimizes driving, parking hassles, and waiting in lines, particularly during busy periods. Additionally, the condo has a designated room to store your ski gear.

You can load and unload at the lobby and then have a free shuttle service 24 /7 to your car.
