Beautiful remodeled lake front house with walk out deck, gas grill, large grass yard, fire pit, kayaks, bikes and a nice dock on an all sports lake connected to the Huron River Chain of Lakes. Close to the Lakeland Trail, several golf courses and a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The Strawberry Lake House is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway or a week vacation!! Wonderful place to stay for our family of 5. Clean and so cozy! Great location between small towns with shopping and restaurants. Easy drive to Ann Arbor for games. The strawberry theme was so cute and our girls loved it! We hope to be back!

One of the BEST stays we’ve had in MI!

Everything about this property was perfect. It’s an adorable cabin, smells like strawbeeey when you come in, has everything we needed and the lake frontage was fun and just enough! We loved the kayaks on the lake. Great place!!!

Strawberry Lake house

We went to Michigan to go to Hell and indeed we did. Great people, good fun. The lake house was very cute on a quiet lake and nice green space. I would have rated the trip higher if there were more things to do in the area, but that is no reflection on the owner. Would recommend this house to others.

Cute little place

Our stay was good overall. It’s a super cute little place. We had some trouble having enough hot water for three people to shower, and the WiFi ended up going completely out for the last day of our stay due to some area outage, while the cable would continuously freeze during the Lions game, so that part really wasn’t fun.

I'm sorry the high winds from the storms caused a problem with the cable and wifi in the entire area! The hot water tank is plenty big enough for several showers!!

Fun time at the lake

Unbelievable amenities. We did all things local. Rented a pontoon boat one day. Used the kayaks and rode bikes including two provided at the cottage. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and yard drinking coffee. Wonderful neighbors. This location is great for all the things we did. Highly recommend

U MI Graduation Weekened at Strawberry House

We had a delightful stay at the Strawberry House during our son's graduation from the University of Michigan. Ann Arbor hotels often require a three-night minimum stay during graduation weekend, with prices that can be quite steep. Opting for the Strawberry House, just a 30-minute drive away, was a fantastic decision. The drive to Ann Arbor was quick and hassle-free, and returning to the peaceful and comfortable ambiance of the Strawberry House after a day filled with celebrations was truly refreshing. I highly recommend this charming spot for anyone seeking a serene and affordable alternative to bustling city accommodations.

The get away was to relax with family celebrating our nephews birthday We enjoy the coziness of the home. Once we got settled in we all really enjoyed every moment of our stay. Mia the host was very prompt at addressing all our new. Host might want to check the ceiling fan off from the kitchen in the tv room & the one in the puzzle room did not operate.. We had a fabulous time!

This rental was so very clean and comfortable and and was supplied with everything we needed -- and so much more!! Our host was very communicative and friendly and left plenty of bottled water for us, although we have lots of experience with well water and brought some of our own too. We enjoyed a beautiful trip in the kayaks. Thank you for leaving our daughter a birthday cake! So thoughtful. The rental was a great location for the places we visited and was very quiet. Highly recommend!

Disc Golf Haven!

Me and a buddy drove up from Nashville to play the Discraft Great Lakes Open A-Tier tournament as well as spectate the Pro Tour event. The location is perfect for Kensington Mills Metro Park, Hudson Mills Metro Park, and Independence Lake County Park which are all immaculate disc golf courses! The home was tidy and well kept and perfect for me and a buddy that only used it to sleep! I guess besides tidy, the only other thing I can comment on is the beds are VERY comfortable!!!

Perfect for our Girls' Trip!

The cottage was perfect for our girls' trip! The place was very clean and well appointed. We used one of the kayaks along with a large raft float we brought, and we had some marvelous time out on the lake. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to use the bikes, though we would have liked to. Having the grill and the firepit were wonderful and convenient. It did rain during our trip, but we were able to head out for some shopping in Howell and Brighton and be back when the sun came out.

Lovely little getaway

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was decorated very cute. You can see the lake from the kitchen which has a nice bar top to socialize while cooking. Cute bikes available for riding and kayaks. I was pleasantly surprised that although this is an all sports lake, there is a lovely river connected that is very naturey with only few houses, and along the strawberry lake nature preserve. It was very relaxing to kayak. I identified 25 different species of birds, including sandhill cranes, yellow warblers, and 4 kinds of woodpeckers. It was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place!

Strawberry Lake Cottage

The location of this little cottage directly on Strawberry Lake 🍓 was perfect! There was a lovely back porch with a picnic table leading out to a green lawn that met the little dock where we launched the kayaks each of several days to explore the area. There were deer, all manner of ducks & waterbirds, and water lillies floating along the river leading along the chain of lakes. The cottage was super clean with a pretty kitchen. While we were there in late June, it was mostly comfortable with the window a/c unit. The only suggestion i have is that we could not run the overhead ceiling fan without the light. If that could be put on a double switch it would make the bedroom more comfortable. Would come again! Thanks, Mia!
