Excellent location and Place!

The accommodations were excellent and location was even better! Staying at this place in the summer time is something we will be back to do!

Wonderful amazing spot!!!

Came here to surprise my mom for her birthday and had the best weekend!! Beautiful sunsets on the docks, easy walk to kings beach and local shops/restaurants. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Amazing location on the lake

Our family loved this vacation so much and we were able to bring our boat and jet skis to this amazing property. The views of the lake from both levels of the back of the house could not have been better. Also, having access to a dock and small private beach were awesome. Easy walk to many restaurants also.

True lake front beauty with age

Loved the property,aged kitchen but everything functions and well equipped.loved the morning coffee and watching the sun rise.will return next year for summer

Great place to quarantine

After being cooped up for the last few months, it was nice to get away. This was the perfect place to do it. A beautiful lake front home with a nice yard and small private beach.

BLISS

Absolute heaven. I loved it's quirky nature and space. The view was stunning and the walk to Kings beach was so short. I loved every minute of being there. TAKE ME BACK.

great spot

Great views of lake out all windows at back of house. The house itself is dated but that is what we expected based on the photos. Ultimately watching the snow fall onto the shore of the lake while sitting in front of the fire more than makes up for the 1970's kitchen. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pier!

Quiet Lakefront Retreat

Relaxing and beautiful views

The barbecue needed propane and was very dirty. Curtains upstairs didn't work properly and no papertowels or tp. Other than those things we had a very nice family gathering on a beautiful lake. Thank you so much!

We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. The curtains throughout the home have all since been replaced, and our cleaning team has been reminded to ensure starter supplies like paper towels and toilet paper are fully stocked and the BBQ is thoroughly cleaned before every stay. While propane tanks can occasionally run out during use, we are always more than happy to deliver a fresh tank right away upon request. Thank you again for helping us improve, and we hope to welcome you back to the lake in the future!

Amazing views just needs some updating.

Amazing views, very comfortable beds, easy check-in and quick response from the property manager. The house is older with most things being straight out of the 70s…but…the retro feel works. A few minor issues - small hot water tank so showers had to be quick (three people), the downstairs bathroom heater wasn’t working, downstairs fireplace is out of service and the bed room tv cable was not working. Small things that should be fixed but everything else was comfortable and relaxing.

We’ve added all-new beds and bedding, fresh living room couches and tables, new bathroom vanity tops, and fully restocked kitchen supplies. We also upgraded to high-speed Wi-Fi and installed new Smart TVs, along with taking care of routine maintenance like the downstairs heating. Great place to Enjoy all that Tahoe offers

The location is perfect. The view spectacular. The yard/beach wonderful. The open floor plan is as perfect for our family of eight. 4 bedrooms each with king beds allowed for privacy and comfort. However our son=in-law would have preferred firmer mattresses. The kitchen/dining was well appointed for family meals. The view and decks were great to enjoy morning coffee. It did not bother us at all that the place is dated. Furniture, kitchen, bathrooms are all functional but very well worn and some things should be replaced. Also some basics like body wash, toiletries, staples could have been more generous. However, the price takes that into consideration. The view,dock,beach and walking distance to Kings Beach area more then make up for the dated look. We had a fabulous time. We would go back and did not want to leave.

Location and View with Ill equipped house

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon checking in we were very aware of the multiple items in need of repair. It became serious when the moulding on the floor cut one of our guests foot and we had someone slip down the bare carpet stairs. These things need to be adressed. There are also chairs with wood and nails sticking out, multiple broken pieces of furniture, a probably toxic oven, broken banisters, gross bathrooms.. The kitchen was poorly stocked (ie: nothing). Everything felt dirty and in need of replacement. The downstairs had virtually no lighting and we all found it hard to get around and see anything in the bedrooms. There was no basic bath products provided - which is bizarre. This is probably my 25th time renting a house and I have NEVER felt so poorly provided for. The location and view are the only thing this house has going for it. We had to store our trash in the downstairs closet which was disgusting. The numerous water toys on the dock and below it are not available for use?? Strange. Will not return and would not recommend to anyone. Filthy, dangerous and not appropriately stocked for this pricepoint.

The house is well cared for and is older, the price reflects this. None of these copncerns were brought to our attention by the renter.

This renter never mention a problem with the water heater during his 5 night stay, the renters that arrive directly after had no issues with the waterheater.

Great location, bad property

The only positive was the view. The home was dated and in poor repair. The inexcusable issue was that there was no hot water. After one 5 minute shower the water would run cold. We had to boil water and take baths for 4 days! The heater in the house also ran at one level, extremely hot. We chose to turn off the heat most of the time. Basic supplies were not provided, TP, paper towels S&P, soap etc.. Would highly recommend finding another location. Very disappointed! Dana and family

The renter gave us no indication of any of these issues, they did not reach out in any way, we have never had any complaints about the house. Had we known about any of this we would have immediately sent our handyman to take care of things. The pictures clearly show that the house is dated and it is priced accordingly. All basic supplies were accounted for when check-in was completed.

Memory Lane

My husband and his siblings grew up doing summers at Tahoe, this was a family reunion for a walk down memory lane Tahoe and this property did not disappoint! We will be back again for sure.

Great Location

We loved the stay. The house is retro - great location close to town. The dock was fabulous, the decks were wonderful. We pretty much stayed and enjoyed the view the whole time.
