My place is located in the Beautiful area of Tangletown in Minneapolis. It is a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything â 10 minutes to the airport, downtown, and MOA. It is walking distance to Wise Acre restaurant, Tangletown Gardens, and other restaurants/bars. Half a block to public transport and bike trails. It is a comfy, two bedroom one bath unit on the top floor with high-speed Internet and Roku TV. Tons of charm built in the 1920s with modern amenities. We provide two retractable bikes that you can bike to Pav that go around three lakes in Minnehaha Creek.
Very cute apartment we stayed in. Very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. All around a great experience. I would definitely stay again.
We were in town for a concert and chose Gigi's for the location. We were no more then 10 minutes for everything we wanted to see with easy access to the freeway to get us there and back. Communicating with the host was easy. The unit was much larger than expected. It was clean and stocked with all the basics you would expect. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Gigi's is the perfect stay for a family looking to see what Minneapolis has to offer.
The check-in process wad easy and communication with the host, Brenda was excellent. She was quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We knew it was a 2nd level upstairs unit and the place was clean and cozy. However, the place was a little older and kind of chilly at times, and the floor boards were squeaky so we tried our best not to make too much noises. Not sure if the older heaters worked or not but we didn't have any thicker blankets to utilize to keep warm. *Please bring blankets with you!* There were only 2 thin blankets in the bedroom closets. Also, the bathroom was a bit tiny. Only one person could go in and out of there at a time so the four of us had to take turns. The kitchen was also tight to get in and out so we were limited to cooking. But there was a large dining area with table and 6 chairs and the two couches were comfortable to sit on and watch TV. We noticed the WiFi worked very well and I was able to get my work done on a daily basis.
The only downfall was that the downstairs rude guest and his dog who kept us up at times with the dog barking numerous of times and he would purposely parked his vehicle right smack in the middle of the front off street parking. He took up the space so we had to park our car about one or two houses down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
The place was convenient for everything we needed. Everything was great in house - no issues with anything. If i had to go back to MN I would stay again!
