Cottage Retreat by Lake Michigan! Perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Come to South Haven and unwind at this updated cottage by the lake. Our fully stocked home comes equip with everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The large backyard boasts a brand-new deck with dining table, lounge chairs, gas grill and a fire pit. Yard games are provided including pickle ball, set corn hole set, volleyball with net, soccer ball with goals and other sports items.

Inside you will find two sitting areas and a wide selection of games, books, and puzzles. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils and features a full fridge/freezer combo, dual oven stove, microwave, and Keurig. The adjacent dining room has a table for 8.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and an office nook with a desk and chair. The large master closet has space for all your luggage. The master bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower, water closet and dual vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed and closet with a dresser. The third bedroom features two bunk beds. The second full bathroom has a tub and shower, along with a washer and dryer. Quality bedding, pillows, bath towels and beach towels are provided.

The cottage is just a 5-minute walk to Pilgrim Haven Natural Area where you can visit the rocky beach for a sunset or enjoy the wooded trails and overlooks. Van Buren State Park is just one mile south of the house with its beaches and numerous hiking trails. Downtown South Haven is 3-4 miles north where there are numerous restaurants and shops.

The cabin is the perfect location near Van Buren State Park and Pilgrim Haven. The interior is skillfully decorated. The hosts were so thoughtful in their attention to comforts and activities provided. Our family had a blast!

A truly wonderful stay! Outfitted with gear for the lake and toys for our children, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Pictures do not do this rental justice!

We have stayed at multiple VRBO locations and this was probably our favorite. The cottage was perfect for our family! The location was great (walkable to the “rocky beach” and nature trails and a short drive to the downtown area). The cottage was well-stocked with all necessities and bonus - kids toys and games! There were also plenty of beach chairs, etc. which made our stay especially enjoyable.

Honestly, this was the best house we stayed in. Host was great. House was very clean. It's in a great location. Extremely happy with our decision. I highly recommend it.

This house was perfect for our family beach vacation. It was very clean and felt like home. It had everything we needed for the beach including beach chairs and toys, along with wagons, umbrellas, balls, etc. The house had comfortable beds and furniture and included things like shampoo, laundry soap, stools in the bathroom for our littles, more nice toys than they could play with and even outside toys and games. It was a very short walk to the rocky beach and only 10 mins to Walmart and Meier. Great place to stay!!

This home was wonderful! So clean and so accommodating for us and our two little ones. The room with all the toys and games was a lifesaver for our 3 year old. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the master bath shower. It was very very weak!

The house was lovely! Roomy, clean and had everything we needed. The back yard was big and the deck was perfect. The location was a short drive to the sandy beach and downtown. We are definitely coming back next summer.

Perfect house and location for our family weekend! The house had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. We had 6 adults, a 4 year old, and 6 month old. We all had plenty of space and especially loved the big dining room table where we ate, played games, and even did a big jigsaw puzzle. The home has toys and two swings in the backyard which my granddaughter loved! We had a bonfire one night with the wood provided. The location was perfect for us. Just a quick walk and you're at the beach to watch the spectacular sunsets. The state park is a short drive away and was a great alternative to going to the beach in South Haven which was jam packed. There was plenty of hot water for showers, the beds were comfortable, easy check-in, easy communication, so many extras in the house! The white noise machines in the bedrooms were a nice touch. Towels for shower and beach were also a nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked to make meals. Lots of outdoor games in the garage and a nice grill which we also used. A tom turkey walked through the backyard one morning which our granddaughter thought was so cool. Very special memories were made and we will definitely stay there again.

Every summer our family goes to South Haven to enjoy Lake Michigan. We have stayed in many homes and this is by far the nicest we have had! The house had everything we needed for entertainment, the beach, and relaxing. It's in the perfect location as well!

Relaxing Getaway

We had a lovely time celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary at this location. The house was a perfect size for 6 adults. It was clean and well-maintained. We even used the puzzles and some of the games for entertainment. It was nice to be such a close walk to the beach and nature preserve.

Great Spot to stay within walking distances to beach in SW Michigan

Everything was fantastic at our stay in South Haven. Angelica answered any questions we had and made check in and check out a breeze. The house had everything we needed and they had chairs and items to use for the beach and firewood for the fire pit out back. The home is within walking distance to the public beach. Whenever we head back to SW Michigan we would stay here again!!!

A perfect summer retreat!

We have stayed in South Haven for years and this has quickly become a favorite spot. The hosts have left not a single detail out - there are games, toys, books, puzzles; cozy, comfortable beds; everything needed for a beach day or a fun game night in the backyard. We easily walked down the road to the rock beach for sunsets, and were in town with less than a 10 minute drive. Thank you for a special family summer memory!

I fell in love instantly with this house. It’s picture perfect inside and out. It was on a quiet street just a few minutes from Van Buren State Park where other family members were camping. It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and the owners have stocked the place with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the main bathroom was like a luxury hotel! Getting in to the house was easy as was checking out. My only complaint was that we didn’t spend enough time in the house and that is our fault. All of us felt we had found our place at the beach in this house. We hope to stay here again next year!

The house was beautiful, clean, organized, open floor plan and in an incredible location! The beds were comfortable, the pillows were great quality, the kitchen was stocked with anything and everything you could ever need to prepare a meal. The sports equipment in the shed had the kids entertained our entire stay, I don’t they even got to everything. Beaches any direction you go! Grab a morning coffee and take the very short walk to the beach to look for rocks! The short flat walking trails around the corner were beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised how close the beaches were! They truly thought of everything anyone could need for their trip. I would 1000% stay there again!
